California’s celebrations

Is Your Sin Great Enough?

Sin is never a topic that is fun to talk or write about. We all have sin to some degree in our lives that is impacting our lives or has not been washed away by the blood of the Lamb. It is sin that drives so many persons to do what they do. They are in love with their sin and just do not want to give up what pleasure they feel in their sin.

I hear about Christians either in leadership or the common person say that they do not commit sin any longer. They are liars and do not have the truth of Christ in them. How do I know this, the Bible says so and the Spirit of Christ working on my life always finds sins (wrongs) that I have committed (sometimes years ago or attitudes I never noticed in myself) that He (the Holy Spirit) wants to clean up in my life.

Salvation is a process not just an event. When Jesus said, “A person needs to be born again” this is not just a one-time event but also an ongoing process of redemption and righteousness. I continually need to wash the robe Gad has given to me to constantly making it as white as I can in the blood of the Lamb. It is a joint process—a process of faith—that God partners with me and I with Him. We both together seek my good and God’s will to be done in the activity of salvation and making me complete in Him (Book of Revelation).

Do not tell me you have not broken every one of the Ten Commandments! We all have either through action or in our hearts. Jesus made this every clear in the Gospels and it is true today. In fact, today’s society celebrates their sin.

In California this is a common occurrence. I see the celebration of sin constantly thrown in front of my face through the media, movies, music, advertising, alternative lifestyles, education, and products that we buy. California is in love with its sin. It refuses to call “Sin a Sin,” that is why God is planning to end or slow down its influence over His creation.

God promises to end or limit a curse in the 3rd or 4th generation. The sin California is experiencing is in this timeframe. Our sins are too great. God cares for future generations and because of this He is going to act. I rather fall into ‘the hands of an angry God’ than allow sin to destroy not only myself but also others around me.

I know that in God there is always mercy but under the influence of the Devil, there is only stealing, killing and total destruction. Lookout California, your time is short.

I thought it best to tell you, in case you didn’t ask but wanted to know, ‘what the Spirit of God is telling the church’.
