100 Days of Prayer & Intercession
January 2017, First 100 Days/Article #1 Regional, community group & individual prayer
Purpose: To study and discuss engaging our minds in careful thinking on things that matter; to seek Godly clarification to find solutions and answers.
Unity: To find a cluster of believers of kindred spirit who value using their minds in their pursuit of God. They are dissatisfied, yearning for something more substantial, but do not know where to turn.
Concepts and Quotes: “You cannot start a fire with wet wood; you must begin with dry tender.” “Tactics” by Gregory Koukl
“Culture is most profoundly changed not by efforts of huge institutions, but by individual people.” Chuck Colson
“Little platoons” small groups of ordinary folks making a difference where their feet hit the ground.“ Edmond Burke
Hence “M633 Little Platoons” — “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33
Prayer: I pray for the welfare of our nation, our families, and the cities where our feet hit the ground, for daily Godly wisdom, guidance, and protection for our leaders and members to meet the challenges and opportunities ahead. I pray for the Peace of Jerusalem. Amen
Scripture: Jesus said: “I am the True Vine, you are the branches, if you abide in me and I abide in you, you can produce much fruit, without me you can do nothing.” John 15.5
