Everyday is a Battle
A prophetic & theological word
One cannot read any book of the Bible without understanding that God has called each of us to ‘His Battle’. Satan chooses to fight with us each day. He hates you and I. We are God’s kids and we are standing between Satan having his way and God’s purposes and action plans being fulfilled.
One cannot be so naive to think that you can get a reprieve from Satan’s attacks. I am happy to fight, and God sees to it that Satan does not win over His kids.
I often would like a day without the drama of confronting Satan’s plans but God has something better for me—victory not just for me but for the people He has call me to ‘stand in the gap’ for.
We all have our place in the body of Christ and there is a position in the ‘army of God’ for each one of us. So be encouraged and put on the armor of God each day. Be willing to fight by Christ’s side. Remember the Bible’s directive for us, “We fight not against people (flesh and blood) but against spiritual wickedness, the powers of darkness and every evil work.” God is depending on you!
So believe, be joyful in the fight, and do valiantly for His name’s sake. I come with the Hope of Glory in me— Christ in me, and He is my strength, my purpose and my hope all the daylong.
