God is Waiting for Us

The Church and Governmental Authority by David Hauser

This message came to me from a good friend, David Hauser. He believes, as I do as well, that the government of God is what is lacking in the Church today. We must join ourselves with Christ and the purposes of God, and this means finding our authority over all of God’s creation and bringing everything under the rule of Christ.

David writes: Christ can only do some things, it is a solo event; “He himself bore our sins.” I Peter 2:24, we don’t bear the sins of the world. It is singularly done. Other things are done through partnership. The Finality, or consummation of all things, the Lord’s return is brought about by our response to His calling us to partner with Him to bring about what He has paid for in Scripture.

His return happens through our cooperation with the Spirit to bring fulfillment in what He has promised. Romans 8:19-22, Proverbs18:16, Philippians 4:19 they were partnering with Paul, I Corinthians 16:2. Yet the most notable Scripture is Hebrews 2:5-8

When we don’t see certain things happen that the Lord has promised in Scripture, we make excuses and push off His will by developing new theology that support our experience. This is revealed through arguments that support; Cessationism, which means it must have ended with the disciples, or other doctrines that are too numerous to mention.

I know when I saw healing rates of nearly 100% in Taiwan, that I ask God what is the reason things can happen like this in a faraway lands, versus western countries. I then heard the word “Expectations.” We have all been sick and wondered why. I have wondered why.

I will admit I don’t have the answer to these legitimate questions, but I don’t allow myself to be trapped by these questions;and then develop some doctrine that brings a false relief to the soul. I will leave that to some great theologian who thinks they have all the answers. I have in the past had a weakness to kidney stones that has put me in the hospital. Yet when I prayed God sent a nurse, maybe an angel who laid hands on me for 20 minutes until the pain dissipated and never came back.

What was that all about? It reminds me of the Agnostic who says in near death experiences, that it’s all about neurons in your brain and their synapsis bringing closure to your life by revealing old memories.

ALL SICKNESS MUST COME UNDER THE GOVERNMENT OF GOD.

God wants us to expect the unexpected. Expectation, is not a hope that He will come this time, I believe it is one of the keys to the miraculous. Everything must be put under His feet.
