Never Finding Oneself
The Error of our Ways
God continues to remind me who I am in Him. Often we hide from God’s reality and ourselves. There are certain sheep on my property when feeling threaten will go and hid in their stable, but other sheep who have a close relationship with me do not frighten easily. We cannot run from the battle in front of us. We must take a stand against all that exalts itself against God, but we can only do this in relationship to God and realizing who we are in Him. It is just like my sheep that find confidence in me; I find confidence in Jesus who I know loves me.
We will never fight if we do not know ‘who we are’. We will allow others to fight for us and never confront the lies that have ‘risen to power over our country’. We have taken the position that ‘we cannot win’—that we can only run and hide. We have accepted the lie that Satan has won and our culture is lost to him. We have given up on finding and knowing who we are in Christ.
America is identity void. Individuals cannot find who they are outside of some micro-culture. We have reached the turning point in our society that each person can only find himself or herself if they are part of something—a movement or sub-culture. The individual is out and the ‘groupie’ is in. Diversity promotes commonality for individuals—it is the group that is important not the individual.
Satan is planning to dominate the earth and he will do this as soon as there are no more individuals. He will offer everyone an identity but only in him. Personal weakness will allow each individual to acceptance the ‘mark of the beast’ and Satan’s domination. When will we learn that our trust is in God alone? When will we find who we are in Christ? Who are you meant to be in Him? Will you find yourself and then get connected to others in the Body of Christ? I hope so!
Wakeup! Hear the call for battle! Listen to the watchmen that stands on the wall saying, “Now is the time!” ‘Today is the day! If you will hear His voice, do not look back or fail to trust in Him.” In Christ alone you can find who you are. God celebrates each individual member in His Body. He honors the minor and weaker members. We must refrain from tempting God, but rather be people of individual and personal strength, faith, and power…to follow the example of Caleb and Joshua! I am who I am by the Grace of God and it is who I have become that I finally have peace and strength to do the right thing and freedom from identity crisis.
