For All You Revivalists
Verses from Esther
So many of us are looking for the next revival. It’s coming but not a revival, but a Spiritual Movement that will usurer in the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. It is not a revival because revivals have so many limitations, such as 2-4 year timeframe, centered in a person (or persons), at a particular location, or within a certain segment of society. That is why God told me not to call this a revival. This is for everyone, for all lifestyles, based on unity; not in leadership (the Holy Spirit will be its leader), and will continue for many years until the time of the anti-Christ.
Here are things to prepare for: angels unlimited, ministering in many ways to heirs of salvation; persecution within and without by members of one’s own church and political governments; deception by Satan making himself looks like Christ; holiness to extremes that the Body of Christ has never experienced before; and blessings beyond measure and trials never-ending.
This Holy Spirit movement will magnify the rule of God in all the earth and the Government of God bringing all things under the subjection of Jesus Christ. No revival ever did that except during Pentecost and the formation of the Early Church. This movement will not be just about miracles, healings and “make me feel better” experiences without the demonstration of the power and authority of God over all who are in the Body of Christ. Christ will be our center, not church doctrine or denomination affiliation. You will not find it on TV, but only the Holy Spirit (not man’s productions) will be moving the Church along in preparation of Christ’s coming.
You can find comfort in recognizing what is to come and how to respond to the movement in the Book of Esther. Take a read of this book—only 10 chapters long—you can do it in one sitting or over a weekend. It is not an accident that there are 10 chapters total and the last chapter has only 3 verses. (God is into numbers—they are symbols of the purposes and power and glory of God—God is a mathematician also.)
Here are a few specific verses for you to ‘claim’ for yourself, speak over your family and friends, and believe God for in seeing God’s will be done in the area you live in:
2:17 And the king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained favor and kindness in his sight more than all the virgins
4:1 Now when Mordecai knew all that was done, Mordecai rent his clothes, and put on sackcloth with ashes, and went out into the midst of the city, and cried with a loud and a bitter cry
4:14 For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then will relief and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place, but thou and thy father’s house will perish: and who knoweth whether thou art not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?
4:16 Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast in like manner; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish.
6:9 And let the apparel and the horse be delivered to the hand of one of the king’s most noble princes, that they may array the man therewith whom the king delighteth to honor, and cause him to ride on horseback through the street of the city, and proclaim before him, Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delighteth to honor.
8:16 The Jews had light and gladness, and joy and honor.
9:22 As the days wherein the Jews had rest from their enemies, and the month which was turned unto them from sorrow to gladness, and from mourning into a good day; that they should make them days of feasting and gladness, and of sending portions one to another, and gifts to the poor.
10:3 For Mordecai the Jew was next unto king Ahasuerus, and great among the Jews, and accepted of the multitude of his brethren, seeking the good of his people, and speaking peace to all his seed.
May the Lord bless the reading and proclamation of His word and promises to His people! May we serve the Lord with gladness and in unity!
