Caught in the Crossfire

Caught in the Crossfire

You and I can see film clips of gun battles where innocent bystanders got caught in the crossfire. Sometimes any numbers of these innocent victims became injured. We consider these people as being in ‘the wrong place at the wrong time’. A tragic scenario for so many people nowadays.

California has so many people from a wide range of backgrounds, cultures, and belief systems. If you cannot find it in California it probably does not exist. There are many Christians in the Golden State. Some are more Christian than others but the mix of non-believers and believers is found in every city and county.

Being a Christian (by church standards) is not always good enough for God. Revelation states if you are luke-warm God considers you a cast-a-way. God only wants those who believe and shows it.

Judgment is upon California; only a fool does not see what is about to happen in our state. Even non-believing scientists warn of coming doom. God predicted judgment on groups of people that no longer believe and have chosen to live without the mercy of Christ in their lives.

There will be Christians that will be ‘blind-sided” by God’s promise of His judgment on mankind. We do not like to admit this side of God but God is a judge—a righteous judge. Do not be caught in the crossfire of God’s displeasure with His creation. If I would offer some advice, these suggestions will help you be prepared for what is to come.

1. If you are not in love with Jesus any longer, rediscover what you did and what you were like when you were in love with Him. Fall in love again with Jesus and let Him love you back.

2. Quit making excuses for God. God is who He says He is and God will do what He says He will do. Begin to believe with all your heart and look to God to fulfill what He wants to do each and every day in your life.

3. Be different, be unique, be radical for the Gospel of Christ. The way not to be surprised is by being part of the surprise from God. God will not let you down and you will never be surprised if you are willing to be part of the surprise God has determined for mankind.

Jesus always knew what His Father was planning and you can know as well. Remember, God promises knowledge about all things but only in your relationship with His Son. I am never caught in the crossfire because Jesus is my protection from all Godly judgments.
