Have you purchased anything from God lately?
(a prayer for day)
God asks all of us to “come and buy.” Revelation 3:18, “I counsel thee to buy of me (God) gold tried in the fire that thou mayest be rich.” The Holy Spirit (whenever you get in the presence of God) is always asking of us to “come & buy.” But you say, “How do I buy from God?”
It is only wisdom that makes a person rich in God’s eyes. Solomon asked of God not material riches but wisdom from God, and God made him rich in wisdom; material wealth followed. Solomon did not see himself rich in money but rich in wisdom—the things that come from God alone, not things of this earth.
If we would only humble ourselves and begin to purchase from God: His wisdom, His understanding, His knowledge, His discretion, His discernment, and His likeness.
I see so many Christians trying to get rich in material wealth, while their soul is hungry, and the heart is empty. We think what we see or what the world offers us is the way for all Christians to live and prosper. God says just the opposite. God sees us poor, blind, and naked when we are without His wisdom and lack His understanding.
The churches of southern California have chosen the way of compromise. They think success is in multiplication, fancy facilities, and professionalism. God works in ways that are not understood by our churches. Yes, I now God always has a remnant (a small number of churches and people) that serve Him; finding God’s wisdom and are blessed.
But God says, “first asked of me wisdom tried in fire.” The Kingdom of God requires a fight for righteous and justice. You cannot have God’s Kingdom on earth without a battle. You and I must go through ‘the fire’ to attain wisdom from above.
Jesus before His ministry began, He was driven into the desert by the Holy Spirit to be tempted by the Devil. Jesus was tried and, in His trials, God produced wisdom in His Son’s life. How much wisdom do you have? Are you willing to purchase what God has to offer? Are you willing to allow the Holy Spirit to guide you or are you going to make all the decisions for your life?
What man says ‘this cannot be’; God says all things are possible. Purchase wisely today!

What would Jesus want me to do?
