Prayer for Pay

As you know, if you have reading my recent articles, God is moving me in a new direction in my writings. He is pushing me to complete my books, which I hope to begin publishing over the next 3 years—one book each year starting this year. My articles new focus will be on ‘the last days’ and ‘Christ’s Return’.

Everything I read and pray about seems to be turned to themes of the Coming of Christ. God today renewed one of my passions: ‘ministries that want your money for exchange for their help’. I call this “Prayer for Pay.” The more you pay the more their ministry will pray for you. I am reminded of Jesus entering Jerusalem at the end of His ministry:

“Jesus entered the temple courts and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves. “It is written,” he said to them, “My house will be called a house of prayer, but you are making it ‘a den of robbers’.” (Matthew 21: 12-13)

If you want all that God will be doing and offering in these last days, your business deals that support the premise, “Jesus for sale” will have to be eliminated.

Far too many ministries use the Gospel of Christ to profit their lofty goals. Ministries are selling the ‘truths of the Gospel’ for financial gain.

Their ministries are subverting the true nature of God’s purposes and Christ’s return. People are still buying and selling in our houses of worship. You do not have to give to be blessed. Rather, you should give because God has given to you and for no other reason. We cannot buy blessings or ‘give our way’ into God’s heaven.

Do not be fooled, God is not mocked, one cannot buy prayer nor can one’s money become a sacrifice to the Lord. The Lord wants His righteousness in us not our sacrifice of the giving of money.
