The Wisdom of God—Is never what you ‘think’ it is!
The wisdom of God is a mystery to most members of the body of Christ. We often ‘think’ we understand God’s ways and His wisdom, but that is rarely the case. Even when Jesus walked the earth the people of Jerusalem and even His disciples did not come close to understanding what God wanted or how God works. They thought because they were religious that they knew what God was going to do next and what God wanted. Yes, the very beginning of the Early Church was deeply-seated in pride and ignorance.
Jesus said, “Wisdom is justified (or vindicated) of her children.” (KJV, Luke 7:34-35 For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine, and you say, ‘He has a demon!’ The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and you say, ‘Look at this glutton and drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners! But wisdom is vindicated by all her children.) What did Jesus know that we do not know?
Simply, wisdom is not what we see, rationalize, or pride ourselves on knowing. Wisdom is found only in the process of discovering what the will of God is—it is the finding of the purposes and action plans of God so we can respond to what those are which leads us to the operation of our faith. Faith comes only after wisdom and the ‘prime directive’ of wisdom is for us to respond to God in faith.
It is this ‘discovery-process’ that the Church is failing so miserable at this time in history. The church should never allow the media, CDC, or man’ laws to dictate what we think or how we respond to what is taking place in America. If the disciples of Christ had their way, Jesus would never have been crucified and the Kingdom of God would have never been given to us.
I can tell the Church in all truth and with the authority of the Spirit and Word of God (the Bible), God’s judgment is coming and will fall upon America for this reason only, “You did not recognize nor accepted the will of God—you did not see the wisdom of God in this your generation. So, God’s judgment will come like a thief and in darkness, and everything you hold dear and consider your strength will be taken from you.”
Luke 19: And when He (Jesus) approached, He saw the city and wept over it, saying, “If you had known in this day, even you, the things which make for peace! But now they have been hidden from your eyes. For the days shall come upon you when your enemies will throw up a bank before you, and surround you, and hem you in on every side, and will level you to the ground and your children within you, and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not recognize the time of your visitation”
As it was with Jerusalem so will it be with America. It is indeed a time of weeping!
