An Easter Message of heavenly waves

April 4, 2021 WWJWMTD by Steve, the son of John

Did You Feel Waves From Heaven?

(An Easter Sunday Message)

Did you attend an Easter Sunday service today? Did you go to church and return home but found yourself unchanged? You didn’t feel the overwhelming presence of the Holy Spirit nor did you find repentance that created a ‘new-you’—you are still the same person you have always been. It is time to feel the waves from heaven; it is time to find a body of worshippers that “worship the Father in Spirit and truth”, as Jesus commanded His disciples.

You cannot worship God without the help of the Holy Spirit, and you must go through Jesus Christ to do that. It is ‘Jesus in us’ that causes us to worship God and it is the Holy Spirit that cleanses us, that inner person, so we can worship God free from sin, being full of Jesus’s righteousness, and exercising the Judgment of God on all workers of darkness.

Waves of heaven are moving across America—they started in January! If you are looking to your denomination or local church to bring you closer to God but find no remedy—you need to begin looking elsewhere! The problem is you are looking to people not to Jesus to bring the promises of God into your life. Let me offer you a lesson in the wisdom of God. Quite being in love with this world or the things in this world and end your love for the pleasure of your sin. It is time to find your purpose in living by giving all your love to Jesus alone. Here are some practical steps all of us must do and an essential truth about heavenly waves. Understand these truths first and then respond to God’s heavenly waves.

Confirm these truths in your mind and heart. First, you are living in the ‘last days’ as spoken by the early church Apostles and New Testament books. Second, the ant-Christ is presently working throughout the earth as stated by the Apostle John in his Epistles/writings and especially The Book of Revelation. Third, realize you are in a spiritual battle and do not look for a political solution or constitutional laws to give you the freedom that only Jesus Christ offers. Four, you should be reading a small portion/a few verses of these three Bible books each day: Psalms, Proverbs, and Revelation. Five, fall in love with Jesus once again (the songs you sing need to be about Jesus and not you, your church, or some past historical event)!

The waves of heaven have been released over America, but do not think just because you believe in Jesus Christ that these waves will impact your life. My question to you is, Where are you standing, and are you facing the direction the waves are coming from?

A lesson in physics. Where you are standing on a beach is how and to what impact a wave will touch you. Every wave is different, some come in slowly and others with a force that will knock you down. So, it is with ‘waves from heaven’. There will be waves so quiet and gentle that the water/wave from heaven will move only over your feet or with a gently soothing action all over you. Then there will be other times when you will hear the wave before you see it and it will come with such force that you will run in order for the wave not to knock you down and consume you. Waves from heaven come in all sizes and shapes for all of God’s purposes. No two waves are the same and each wave will impact each person differently just as where one would be standing on a beach as a wave crashes to the shoreline. This is what is happening throughout America now. It will continue—it will not go away even with all the judgment and wrath that Jesus is about to bring upon this nation.

When this Jesus shows up (the of yesterday, today, and forever), He brings with Him the Holy Spirit and the waves of heaven. Repentance will flow, like you and I have never experienced before, and judgment will come crashing down upon us that will shake and change all that we now know. Now is the time for the Fear of the Lord (whatever God does it is always right and just) and now is the time for deep crying with repentance.

Yes, my spirit and my mouth say, “Come, Lord Jesus, come!”

Calling all Peters

April 3, 2021 WWJWMTD by Steve, the son of John

Calling all Peters, “What Are You Afraid Of?”

Every person has some sort of fear dictating their life’s decisions. Each person makes decisions according to what they are afraid of. If you would take a personal survey of your decision-making process and what motivates you, you would find that fear in some form and often in multiple cases is the driving force to what you do.

The Bible has lots to say about fear. God says often, “Fear not” and has given us the Scripture, “Love casts out all fear.” I wish we would spend more time working on having less fear instead of trying to have more faith. (The truth of the matter is if we would keep ourselves in the love of God [by praying more in the Spirit] we would be able to respond to what God wants rather than trying to figure out how to avoid fear.)

Much too often we place our minds and hearts ‘in fear’ before we pray and praise God. We ask ourselves, “Will God hear my prayer this time?” or “Does God truly love me and will respond to my worship of Him?” We worry and fear in so many of our actions and thoughts. The natural growth of fear and worry in our relationship with God comes from either ‘listening to Satan’s lies’ and/or our choices in ‘tempting God’.

The disciple, Peter, had to face what he feared—public opinion, Jewish leadership, and Roman Law. He denied the one person who loved him more than he loved himself yet could not follow Christ even though he tried—his fear kept him in bondage to the world and without the freedom that Jesus offered him.

The day before Easter Sunday I am challenging all you Peters. What are you afraid of? Public opinion, character assignation by the media, loss of money or lawsuits, family members, your neighbor’s respect, your job, or even your marriage—do any of these losses touch fear in your life?

Jesus died without friends, hated by loyal Jewish followers, looked down upon by Roman sympathizers, rejected by the very people He healed and loved, found Himself alone in death while knowing that the place He would be going, before His Father raises Him into heaven, would be hell itself. JESUS WAS NOT AFRAID!

I am calling on all Peters to repent, reject the fear Satan wants you to feel, and be reborn this Easter Sunday. It is time all of us must say, as Jesus said before His crucifixion, “Not my will but your will (Father) be done” and reject the very fear Satan offers us by accepting and living in the love of the Father.

America’s Gay Movement and the Body of Christ

March 23, 2021 WWJWMTD by Steve, the son of John

The Equality Act and My Friend

God a few years ago impressed upon me to pray for a spirit of repentance and salvation for the gay community in America. I have been faithful to do this, but within the last year God has asked me to pray that the leadership within the gay movement would become blind and not accomplish its political agenda and cultural goals for American. Much of what the gay movement has purposed to do has come about. There influence on all aspects of America’s society is great and destructive. Many people’s lives have been corrupted and ruin by its influence. It is time for the Church to take a stand and ask God for the Holy Spirit to do what Scripture says the purposes of the Holy Spirit on earth.

Please take time to read what Phillip Lee sent to me, which is also on his website—be informed and moved to do God’s will at this time in history and for the Glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Phillip writes, “On Wednesday, March 17, 2021, the U.S. Senate received 27 personal testimonies of once LGBTQ-identified individuals detailing their opposition to the Equality Act because it discriminates against them.

Each life experience testimony is now a matter of Congressional Public Record and I am very honored to share with you that my testimony (below) is among those received by the U.S. Senate.

The Bill was only discussed by the Senate Judiciary Committee and it is not clear where the Bill will head next.

Possibly to another committee or straight to the Senate floor for a vote.

Let’s pray that this bill gets totally defeated and that God makes a way for more personal stories to be seen and heard by legislators.

My Testimony/Phillip Lee

The Honorable Chairman Dick Durbin and Ranking Member Chuck Grassley
Senate Judiciary Committee
U.S. Senate
Washington, DC 20001

Dear Chairman Durbin and Ranking Member Grassley:

On Wednesday, March 17, 2001, the Senate Judiciary Committee will be holding a hearing on the Equality Act. I am writing to express my opposition to this bill and share with you how it would have a direct negative effect on me and others like me.

While homosexuality is a topic I speak to and about both professionally and personally, I remain confident that many today are not aware there continues to be men and women with unwanted
same-sex attraction that have and are making the personal decision to leave homosexuality.

As a result, formerly gay-identified men and women are often reviled simply because they dare to exist.

Should not diversity and tolerance be a two-way street by recognizing and including the once gay-identified man or woman? We are real and we are here. Therefore, I must express my growing concern regarding the Equality Act and the often widespread intolerance practiced against those who choose to face and break free of the snare of same-sex attraction.

Thirty-five years ago I said goodbye to homosexuality and the gay identity. Like all faithful followers of Christ Jesus, I had to face the decision of accepting or rejecting Christ’s Lordship. Coming out of homosexuality required deep emotional healing and a restructuring of my whole identity, as our Creator, God is the only One who knows exactly how to restore our personality.

I remember so vividly when coming to know Christ at the age of 35, what it meant for the first time in my life to be a man. But more importantly, what it meant to be a godly man. For me to deny or not share what Christ has done in my life would be the equivalent of denying Him.

Thankfully and gratefully, I am far from the only individual who has experienced change. God has not been silent to the cries of men and women wanting freedom from homosexual feelings and behavior. Many have experienced the restorative power of Christ during their same-gender struggles.

One gay activist challenged me by stating, “Phillip, while I commend you regarding your concern about intolerance, I just can’t get my head your being ex-gay. Why don’t you just be true to yourself?”

“Be true to myself?” I replied. “That is exactly what I am doing.”

What makes one individual happy and content may not make someone else happy, because we are all individuals. Like any man or woman, I deserve the right to self-determination and happiness. To give sexual orientation protection to one group while excluding another is outright discrimination.

Without testimony from all sectors of society, including the ex-gay community, public policy on the topic of homosexuality is seriously flawed.

Formerly LGBTQ-identified men and women are routinely denied equal access to participate in public school events and present on diversity days.

Ex-gay conferences, workshops, and seminars are frequently picketed by pro-gay protesters.

Transgender individuals are affirmed for changing their gender, but formerly LGBTQ-identified men and women are ridiculed for making the choice to address and pursue any degree of change with regard to sexual orientation.

Ex-gays are subject to an increasingly hostile environment where they are labeled as perpetrators of hate simply because they advocate for or live out a different belief and view of homosexuality.

Ex-gays are criticized and face lifelong intolerance for existing as living proof that homosexuality is not innate.

Frankly, the welfare of individuals, society, and the Church depends on our facing the subject of homosexuality honestly, compassionately, and courageously.

Yes, homosexuals have the right, as do others, to believe that homosexual behavior should be accepted as normal. However, they do not have the right to demand everyone agree with them.

True love is loving despite our differences and treating each other with kindness and respect.

It means to live in a society in which freedom of speech and religion are guaranteed.

A true code of ethics calls us to treat all people – heterosexuals, homosexuals, pan-sexuals, bisexuals, etc. – with compassion, and to do our utmost to promote justice and wellness for all. As a result, love and justice are the primary fundamental values which should govern our public policy concerns, as well as our personal attitudes and actions. Not only how we treat people as individuals, but the kinds of laws and social policies which we promote must reflect these basic values.

Ultimately, the Equality Act greatly concerns me in that many may get what they want through the Act but will they get what they truly need.”

Respectfully,
Phillip Lee

Your three steps out of failure

March 2, 2021 WWJWMTD by Steve, the son of John

Your Theology or Jesus Christ?

Leadership and the Body of Christ (part 3)

There is only one promotion in Christ, and it is to become a servant and eventually a slave to Jesus Christ as the Apostle Paul states so clearly in his Epistles (this is our first step in fulfilling Christ’s calling on our lives). Notwithstanding, there are three steps all of us must make.

Too many of our Church leaders fall into the trap that the world (and Satan) promotes the idea that one has to make oneself into a somebody and admired by those around him or her. We are told to become ‘a somebody’ with/in Jesus Christ. Just the opposite is true, we become ‘nobodies’ if we are to do Christ’s perfect will in our ministries. We are no longer living, but it is ‘Christ in me’ that makes me alive. Each of us must always remember that ‘I am not good’, as Jesus said, “No one is good but God”. Each of us should no longer try to become significant or consider oneself important—I do not ‘brand myself’ as the world wants me too, but I consider whatever I know or how I have succeeded in this world to be nothing! And, if I boost of anything I boost only in the persecution I have suffered for Christ’s sake. I deserve no honor, no glory, or no recognition.

The anti-Christ has come, and we are now in the battle for the Second Coming of Christ (this is our second step in fulfilling Christ’s calling on our lives). The Apostle John wrote in I John that “now there are many anti-Christs” (KJV) and that was written 2000 thousand years ago. Today you can see the mark of the anti-Christ upon people i.e. if you have the eyes of the Holy Spirit; also, his image is in so many institutions, and his lies are proclaimed all around us by what is written daily in newspapers and books and what is distributed in social media platforms. The spirit of the anti-Christ denies that Christ came as a man and denies that Christ himself now lives in men, women, and children. If you cannot realize this and do not see it daily, you are blind and living in your sins (as Revelation states in chapters 2 & 3).

Becoming a person of faith—a person that responds to the purposes and action plans of God (this is the third step in fulfilling Christ calling on our lives.)The Apostle Paul said, “You have put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that He put all in subjection under him, He left nothing that is not put under him. But now we do not yet see all things put under him” (Hebrews 2:8 NKJV). A kinder version states it like this, “Now in putting everything in subjection to him, he left nothing outside his control. At present, we do not yet see everything in subjection to him” (ESV). All things are quickly changing. If you do not see through your spiritual eyes that this spiritual struggle is taking place, I would repent, ask God for healing, and prepare for only one thing—the coming of Christ/His return and Christ’s judgment on this world.

A person of faith is a person that responds in actions not just words to what God says, asks, requests, or demands. Book of Hebrews chapter 11 tells us what is required to walk in faith. Verse 6 is the foundation of faith: “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him” (KJV). All the other verses give us examples of what faith can do and what it looks like. Each of the people of faith in this chapter do not walk by sight but first hope then by responding in faith to what God says. When we respond positively to what God has said or is saying, we are called ‘people of faith’. It is our response and choice to believe what God says is ‘true and correct’, and all God is asking of us to respond to Him—this is faith in action. We must choose God and choose to do things as God does everything.

This is where many of today’s leaders are walking in error, personally and regarding their ministry and calling. We must never say that ‘we believe in Christ’ and then not walk in humility as well as not realizing what God is doing in this our generation and time. Failure to fulfill steps one, two, three, will only promote failure, confusion, and doubt. Satan will only continue to win in his battle against the Church. We must do as the Book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ tells the Church in these last days. Let’s be wise, full of faith, and willing to take this fight against everything that exalts itself against Jesus Christ.

Are you tempting God?

Feb 12, 2021 WWJWMTD by Steve, the son of John

The Day of the Lord Has Come…

Leadership and the Body of Christ (part 2)

The Day of the Lord has come, and we are not ready. Was the Church prepared for Covid-19? Are our lamps filled with oil (is your light/testimony shining bright)? Is everyone praying and saying, “Come Lord Jesus, Come?” Are you still poor, blind, and naked or are you rich with the Holy Spirit, can you see the truth in what is taking place in this world? Are you clothed with a robe of righteousness that is clean and bright? The final and all-encompassing question is, are you living a lifestyle that does not ‘tempt God’?

Satan has stolen the blessings God has given you, as well as, stolen your first love for Jesus by fighting against you. Satan has driven you away from God’s perfect will for your life by telling you lies that you have accepted. Satan is on the verge of destroying all that you consider your strength in God by getting you ‘to love this world and the things in this world’ instead of loving God more than you love your own life.

Christian leadership has not prepared us for what has recently taken place in

America nor what is coming soon. I considered the greatest error on the part of our leadership is ‘not teaching us how we tempt God’. As Jesus was tempted by the devil so the Church has been tempted and ‘found failing’. Mathew 4:5-7: Then the devil took him to the holy cityand had him stand on the highest point of the temple.“If you are the Son of God,”he said, “throw yourself down. For it is written: “He will command his angels concerning you, and they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.” Jesus answered him, “It is also written: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test’.”

Our response to Covid-19 was out of fear. We were fearful of confronting government regulations. We were fearful of the virus; we were told and believed that if anyone who gets the virus will die of the virus (what a lie). We were fearful of public opinion and losing respectability with society and the media if we question what was taking place. When you tempt God, you come under the control of the devil and eventually become fearful and believe what you are told. In fact, wearing a mask has become more a symbol of submission to the government than having protection from the virus.

We all know that we have been tempting God by not doing what our Lord has taught us to do with regards to honoring God and living a lifestyle that shows respect to how God wants us to live. We now know that the virus has little effect on those individuals that have treated their body with healthy living habits and use wisdom connected with common sense in combating any sickness.

We have failed by doing these things: we eat unhealthy meals & snack foods, exercise too little (America is overweight), breathe air that is stale and recirculated, spend too much time indoors instead of outside in the sunlight, do not exercise proper/consistent hygiene, nor do we drink enough ‘quality water’ each day. We want to live unhealthy lifestyles and then want the Medical Association to give us a magic pill or injection/shot to cure how we have treated our bodies. In short, we tempt God. We want God to heal us or supply some miracle so to correct what we have been doing wrong to our bodies. The medical profession offers assistance in so many good ways, but we could assist our bodies in fighting infections, disease, and viruses if we would not tempt God.

Church leadership should have been telling all of its members to ‘live a healthy lifestyle’! Leaders should be addressing what we eat, how to exercise properly, issues of overweight, proper hygiene, and how not living a proper lifestyle causes one to tempt God. We should not, we cannot tempt God in any form, manner, or decision-making process. We must make decisions that protect our body—physically, socially, and spiritually. Leadership has ignored the truth of the Scriptures—’do not tempt the Lord your God’.

Not living a God-honoring lifestyle is like committing suicide and tempts God. God in His great mercy offers us grace, healing, and miracles if we have come under the control of Satan’s influence or have acted/made decisions out of ignorance. If you know to do any good and do it not, it is sin’ it is just that simple, and Old Testament commandments support such a position of living a healthy lifestyle. (This is only one of so many ways we tempt God; let’s become educated.) We want to do the minimum in serving and loving God, but Jesus said we must love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. He furthermore said, “If you love me, you will keep my commandments.” It is time to love God, not tempt God.

God has blessed America with abundance and multiple life-changing options. We have available to us, a host of choices as to our health and well-being. Choose the lifestyle that does not tempt God and can fight the virus (any virus or disease). It is time to live to Christ alone and abide by His example—let’s not tempt God or put God to the test.

Are you a Jesus person?

Feb 6, 2021 WWJWMTD by Steve, the son of John

Did You Do What Jesus Told Us To Do?

Leadership and the Body of Christ (part 1)

My heart aches in so many ways! I long for the moving of the Holy Spirit of God as I have experienced in the past. I cried often many years ago when I realized that the Jesus Movement was fading, a movement I was very involved in. The Jesus Movement was everywhere—in our secular music, on our billboards, in our board meetings, in our civil rights marches and the ‘peace movement’, and also in our churches. You could not avoid the impact of the Jesus Movement nor could you go anywhere or even walk down the street (even in Hollywood to rural America) without bumping into a Jesus person who would tell you about Christ. It was great and wonderful and exciting! It faded and the Church has never been the same. Oh, our churches grew, and members joined existing or started new denominations, but the fire went out and money took its place. I have fought to keep what God placed in my life then as I have done with other Spirit-led movements over the past 60 years, but I want all that God brought to me years ago to bring it back into our culture once again. I want the conflict (not acceptance); I want the passion (not security); I want the power of the Holy Spirit doing things so unexpectedly (not the status-quo).

Christian leadership has taken the easy road, the acceptable way of life, and disregarded the lifestyle that is to challenge everything in our society without regard to what people think or what the government says. Yes, I am disappointed in so many of our Christian leaders—our leaders in Christian Universities, church leadership, and Christian organizations. Recently our Christian leadership has not only failed Christ but the people who they serve.

What would have John the Baptist done is he would have obeyed the Jewish leadership of his day—the leadership he was originally apart of? There would have been no preparation for Christ’s ministry. John brought the forgiveness of sin that was unheard of in Jewish theology and customs, and He paved the way for the Kingdom of God and the ministry of Christ.

What would have Christ done if He accepted Jewish traditions, obeyed Roman Empire’s rule, and considered public opinion? He would have never done what His Father-God wanted Him to do. Jesus was in every way the counter-revolution to all theology, religious customs, and traditional belief systems of His day. My question to all Christian leaders is, “Are you doing what Jesus Christ, John the Baptist, or the Apostle Paul did in their day?

I will be addressing where our Christian leaders have gone wrong (not all but many). I will be giving specifics on where they have failed and how to correct the error of their ways. A moving of the Holy Spirit has begun, and it begins with the House of the Lord (all of God’s leaders and people).

Always remember that repentance and humility precede the manifestation of the Gifts and Fruits of the Spirit. It is the Sword of the Armor of God that brings repentance, righteousness, and judgment of God.
