What to expect–who will you become?

September 22, 2024 WWJWMTD by Steve, the son of John (2SoJ)

What to Expect…What to Do…Who to Become

As my good friend Otis stated in the last article, ‘it is only in Daniel’s lifestyle and his trust in God, can we expect to survive in the days ahead’. God was telling me the same thing but in a slightly different manner due to our different personalities. I need to agree with Otis, as well as state that it is not just the ‘Daniels’ that we need to become but also the ‘Ruths’.

Ruth changed history in a much different manner than did Daniel, but both changed history in such a dramatic way that not only did it affect those around these two people, but generations and countries were impacted for years to come. We are living in such a time as this!

God is once again looking for people of faith (this is the new reset of God) to obey God above and against everything that now exists. People that are fearless, bold, uncompromising, steadfast in the faith, Bible believing Christians, followers of Christ by doing what He said we should do—ready to be persecuted for our testimony in Jesus Christ.

Where are these people of faith? Who will you become in the Body of Christ? Will you change history or merely be a byproduct of our culture? This is the greatest ‘time period of faith’ the world has ever seen! The battle is in front of us. The choice is yours—will you stand firm like Daniel and Ruth?

Otis stated clearly what I also have been feeling and hearing from God. It is stated in the verse, Philippians 4:6-8 (KJV/Steve’s editing), Be careful about nothing (no fear, no worry, no hesitation); but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests, prayers, and your heart’s feelings be made known to God. And allow by choosing the peace of God, which ‘goes well beyond’ all understanding, allow it to keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, by doing this—whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”

We must become bold, courageous, and unwavering in our place in this world. Knowing persecution will come. We will be hated and rejected from any position in society. We will lose our friends and possibly our jobs. Fellow Christians will choose not to be a follower of Christ any longer and will turn against you, helping the antichrist to persecute and even kill you. Are you ready for this?

America will divide itself becoming many nations rather than one nation. California will become destroyed by the judgment of God because of its great sin and promoting its sin throughout the world. In fact, California will be invaded by another nation before Christ returns. A Christian will become the ‘scapegoat’ for all the destruction that comes upon the world because of God’s judgment. Will you stand with Christ and others in the Body of Christ? God is not mocked, and the Bible is true in every way and in every verse.

We need to pray (all the time) like Daniel, always praying and always seeking God to do His will. We need to make commitments like Ruth. Never turning back, always looking forward and always being humble, seeing the best God has to offer and then receiving His blessing.

This is what is to come and it is God’s reset for His Church.

The Daniel in all of Us

September 17, 2024 WWJWMTD by Steve, the son of John (2SoJ)

The Daniel in All of Us

Guest Author Otis Davis

Daniel 10:17-19 NIV How can I, your servant, talk with you, my lord? My strength is gone, and I can hardly breathe." Again, the one who looked like a man touched me and gave me strength. "Do not be afraid, O man highly esteemed," he said. "Peace! Be strong now; be strong." When he spoke to me, I was strengthened and said, "Speak, my lord, since you have given me strength."

Once again, the angel restored Daniel’s strength so he could hear the prophetic message from the messenger and record for our learning. Twice the angels told him, "Fear not". (Dan 10:12,19). The angel also said, "Peace! Be strong now; be strong" (v. 19, NIV). Daniel needed strength to be able to hear the long message the angel brought to him. Finally, the angel made it clear that the battle wasn’t yet over. As soon as he finished instructing Daniel, Gabriel would return to assist Michael in battling the prince of Persia and the prince of Greece, two satanic evil angels who were opposing the plans of the Lord for these nations. The ruler of Persia had shown great kindness and mercy to the Jews in allowing them to return home, and Satan was against this decision. God also had plans for Greece (11:2-4) and Satan wanted to interfere there. One reason why God commands His people to pray for those in authority is so that God’s will, not Satan’s plans, might be fulfilled in their lives. I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone, for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good and pleases God our Savior 1 Tim 2:1-3 niv. The destiny of more than one nation has been changed because God’s people have fervently prayed.

"For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ" (2 Cor 10:4-5, NKJV). (from The Bible Exposition Commentary: Old Testament by Warren W. Wiersbe)

Luke 21:36 nlt Keep alert at all times. And pray that you might be strong enough to escape… and stand before the Son of Man." Jesus instructed us to pray asking for strength and he prayed it himself. The Greek word used here is katischuo’ and it means to prevail against. This is a valiant strength. It implies a fight, an enemy we can and will prevail over. Our English translation “Lord Almighty” is correctly translated as “Lord of heaven’s armies.” Our God is the God of war, “mighty in battle” (Psalm 24:8). We need him to strengthen our hearts, so we are as protected as if by steel, as immovable as steel. Matt 16:18 nkjv And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock, I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.

This is no coincidence that katischuo’ is used only in these two verses (Luke 21.36; Matthew 16.18). Jesus wants us the understand that it is the powers of hell that are trying to overpower us, to crush the human heart, especially the hearts of his followers. The strength God urges us to ask for is a combative strength, a strength to win the fight, to overcome. We need strength of heart, strength of mind, strength of spirit. A strength that prevails. Because there are forces urging us to quit. The temptation is to give up. How do we find the strength to prevail when we don’t even want to ask for it?

The era we just lived through, what I would call the Comfort Culture, weakened us for the trials we are facing. When you live in a world where everything is done with a few clicks on your phone, it doesn’t exactly develop resilience. Anyone living in the developed world has experienced a level of ease unimaginable to previous generations. This is the overnight delivery age. Let me be quick to say, I have fully enjoyed all the conveniences of our modern moment. But I’m also aware that they’ve made me soft. By way of contrast, the World War II generation emerged from the Great Depression with a sense of reality, grit, and resilience. So, we come into this tough moment in a compromised state. We have been set up for this loss of heart, set up to be overcome, set up to give in. Jesus knew all this, and lovingly told us to ask for the strength that prevails and there’s an urgency to his voice. Giving up has always been a struggle for frail humanity. But when Jesus urges us to ask for strength to escape, he has something particular in mind, something he sees coming; “At that time many will turn away from the faith. Matthew 24:10. I do not think we’re going to see millions of people tattooing “I hate God; I love Satan” on their chests, or marches in every major city blaspheming Jesus Christ. Satan is much cleverer than all that. I believe what we will see, what we see happening now, is simply people giving up on God in large numbers. Which is why I think the New Life version has it right: “For the Lord will not come again until many people turn away from God” 2 Thessalonians 2.3.

I bring this up because the enemy is wickedly skilled at pouncing on our vulnerabilities. He is using these trying times to cloud our hearts with unbelief. If in fact the Falling Away is sweeping the earth, we want to have advance warning. It gets in the air like poison, and we do not want to slowly succumb to it ourselves. It gains a social momentum, and since we are social creatures, we can get swept up in it without a conscious decision on our part. The pandemic put us all in a heightened state of longing for life to be good again. We rushed out to make that happen in some way, shape, or form. But every such effort disappoints, even the most fabulous vacation is not going to heal your soul from trauma. We return to a world still filled with tension and fear. Disillusionment sets us up for a serious loss of heart. We give up on God because we feel he has not come through. This is exactly what the enemy has planned all along. But this is our moment, and Jesus offers us strength, so let us seize it now with both hands while we still can. A feeling of “I don’t want to fight this” is called ennui, a weariness of spirit, a malaise, that sense of I just don’t want to fight anymore, an intensified doubt, super-doubt, mega-doubt. And this feeling is not your true heart. This is so helpful to understand; that weariness you’re feeling, that Not now, maybe later, that sense of being overwhelmed, that Why bother? Who cares? —this is the enemy not you. When you know that, you are much better prepared against it. You can more clearly choose to resist. Reject this feeling of Why bother? Who cares? and I don’t even want to fight. I choose the strength that prevails! I want to fight! I don’t want to be one of those folks who gets taken out at the end. It begins with a choice, my choice. Some people seem born with a greater measure of resilience The Comfort Culture doesn’t exactly foster that kind of physical and mental toughness. But resilience is also something that is bestowed, something imparted by God into our frail humanity. That’s truly good news. Dan 10:17-19 niv My strength is gone, and I can hardly breathe." (Daniel said) Again the one who looked like a man touched me and gave me strength. "Do not be afraid, O man highly esteemed," he said. "Peace! Be strong now; be strong." When he spoke to me, I was strengthened.

The first fruit of katischuo’ is the ability not to give up. Never surrender, never give up! The strength that prevails; this mighty, combative warrior-strength not to quit. Because when you’re tired, when you’re beat up, you just want relief. Jesus urges us to be on our guard, “so that your hearts will not be weighed down…praying that you will have the strength to escape all these things. Luke 21.34,36 nasb. Jesus says there is a means of escape. Wouldn’t you love an escape from all the madnesses? Okay then, let’s make the choice right now to receive it. How do we tap into katischuo’, the strength that prevails? It starts with being single-hearted. We are single-hearted when we cherish God above all things. Scripture promises that God will come to the help of those who are single-hearted: “The eyes of the Lord search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him” 2 Chronicles 16.9 nlt. God gives the strength that prevails to those whose hearts are fully given over to him. This is why it’s so important to stay single-hearted. Notice that before offering the strength that prevails, Jesus urged us to turn from the things that seem to offer life but instead wear us down: “Watch out! Don’t let your hearts be dulled by carousing and drunkenness, and by the worries of this life. Don’t let that day catch you unaware, like a trap” Luke 21.34-35 nlt. As we turn our hearts toward Jesus or our Father (they are one), we practice loving him. I love you, God. I love you, God. This is not feeling love; the warfare and the weariness will often make you feel rather blank. We choose to love God anyways. This is the strength that prevails, giving you the first step of courage to stand and be single-hearted. We ask him for katischuo’—his overcoming, prevailing, conquering strength. God offers it, so ask, ask, ask! By praying like this: “Father, Jesus, Holy Spirit, God of all creation, I need your strength that prevails. I don’t want to fall away. I don’t want to lose heart. I choose you above all things. I give you my allegiance and my undivided love. I choose single heartedness toward you, Lord Jesus, body, soul, and spirit, heart, mind and will. I pray for a supernatural resilience, God. Fill me with your overcoming strength, a victorious strength of will. I pray for the strength that allows me to escape all that is coming against the saints in this hour. Fill me with resilience. By faith I receive it and thank you for it. “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be added unto you” Matthew 6.33. In Jesus’ name, amen. Eldredge, John. Resilient (pp. 41-42). (By Otis Davis, a good friend, author & businessman)

Are You Ready?

September 16, 2024 WWJWMTD by Steve, the son of John (2SoJ)

Are You Ready? A Kingdom of God Reset is Coming!

God does so many things unexpectedly and outside of the ‘theological-box’ we place Him in. I often ask myself why, for what purpose when I read a scripture in the Bible. Take for instance the Gospel story of Moses and Elijah coming down to earth to meet with Christ. What were they talking about? What was God’s purpose? Did Jesus need some help? (Matthew 17:1-6). God was doing a ‘reset’ with His Son.

God is about to do the same again, a ‘reset’ for the Body of Christ. The breath and length of the reset I do not know, but we will see it coming and understand its importance as the reset works within the Body of Christ. This is part of the “end-times” mentioned in the Bible. This is the work of the Father, and it is marvelous in our eyes. You will not just ‘hear God’ but will ‘see God’ as Job testified to in the Book of Job, the final chapter.

A few days ago, the Holy Spirit spoke to me, stating these words, “Where are the Daniels; where are the Ruths?” No matter what God speaks to me, I usually wait for confirmations or signs to what the Holy Spirit is talking to me about. The confirmations have come, and God has started to show me what He is planning, doing, and will do soon. I am excited and humbled.

The next few articles will come from various individuals as well as myself. God is looking for Daniels and Ruths to come forth within the Body of Christ. There is much to do in politics, community, Body of Christ, and within so many individuals. Now is the time to pray like you have never prayed before—I mean take all the free time to pray, listen to the Bible being read, and always keep songs of praise on your mind, in your ears, and coming from your mouth.

God wants you prepared and committed to Him during the time of great change, while seeing the will of God taking place in all levels of our society. Satan will try to single you out through fear, discouragement, and doubt. Only in prayer, praise, and listening to the Bible being read will you overcome Satan’s attacks.

May you receive blessings for being faithful to God no matter what happens, no matter how many deceptions Satan brings your way. It is the faithful alone that inherits the promises of God and receives all that God offers to His people.

From humility to great faith

July 28, 2024 WWJWMTD by Steve, the son of John (2SoJ)

Prayer & Having Great Faith

I often ask for or pray about these things when I talk to God. I ask for great mercy, great wisdom, and great faith; deliverance from all things evil; to receive a ‘Jesus-future’ and deliverance from my past; forgiveness for my friends, family, and people who are called by the name of Christ; my ‘soul’ to rejoice in God; and lastly, to always be in love with Jesus—He is my friend, and I am grateful to Him!

I kind of bounce around when talking to God. I do not have a particular pattern or reason for my prayers, but I pray what is on my heart or spirit at that time. I like praying when no one is around and often do my best praying early in the morning when the sun is not up yet.

The items I mentioned in the first paragraph have various components when I pray about these topics. For instance, ‘faith’ has requirements to be effective, so I pray about the ingredients that make for ‘great faith’.

Faith is not just about believing. Believing is taken for granted if you are exercising faith.Consider these Scriptures when you want to allow faith to operate in your life.

1. If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV

2. God will give swift justice to those who don’t give up. So be ever praying, ever expecting, in the same way as the widow. Even so,when the Son of Man comes back, will he find this kind of undying faith on earth?” Luke 18:8 TPT

3. So likewise, when you shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do. Luke 17:10 KJV

The number one ingredient for ‘great faith’ is humility, nothing else really matters. It is the person who is humble, never stealing glory from God (it is God alone who gets the praise and respect), and when done doing great works of faith, accept no honor, recognition, or reward. Pride will steal your faith from working. Fear can get in the way of one’s faith when one is operating in faith, but you will never have great faith when pride is operating in your life.

Let’s stop comparing ourselves to each other, but instead, humble ourselves allowing others to be honored above ourselves. We should be ‘lifting up’ others and take a ‘humble position’ in the Body of Christ. "I am the least in the Body of Christ and deserve no honor or praise." If we would do this the Body of Christ would be in unity and our faith would be extremely great. Humility first, great faith second.

A Picture in my Office

July 23, 2024 WWJWMTD by Steve, the son of John (2SoJ)

I Have a Picture Hanging in My Office…

I have a picture in my office which has been with me for about 30 years. It’s a painting of a person from the waist down in a pair of blue jeans worn out at the knees. An American flag is in the background, and it says, “PRAY HARD…IN GOD WE TRUST”. This is how I feel all the time. I pray and then get off the floor and respond in faith to what God impressed or told me to do about my prayers to Him. I pray first, finding the mind, purpose, and will of God through my prayers; and then I respond, act, and do whatever God tells me—this is my faith in action.

You can never pray enough! I pray in English a lot and ‘pray in tongues’ a lot more. I am Charismatic and do what Jesus did while on earth. I am a disciple of Christ as Paul became a disciple of Christ, and he made the statement to the church, “I pray in tongues more than all of you combined.” Why do you think Jesus went up into a mountain to pray by Himself, just like He commanded us to pray, “Go into your closet and shut the door and pray to your Father in secret.” We do not pray enough like Jesus prayed (praying in public does not count).

You will never find the will of God without praying, and once you have a ‘one-on-one’ experience with God, you are now ready to do what God wants you to do.

Want God to choose our political leaders in November—PRAY!

Want God to give you righteousness and unlimited anointing to do God’s will—PRAY!

Want God to prepare you for battling against darkness and evil in this world—PRAY!

GOD’S WILL DOES NOT HAPPEN BECAUSE YOU WANT IT, IT HAPPENS BECAUSE YOU PRAYED ENOUGH!

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV

Unlimited Anointing

July 14, 2024 WWJWMTD by Steve, the son of John (2SoJ)

Unlimited Anointing—What must I do?

I am not talking about your common variety of anointing that most Christian have but Unlimited Anointing which God is now offering. Christians often choose to limit God. Once you receive something from God you relax and believe, thinking that “This is what God wants for me.” This is rarely the case. The Bible states (Matthew 5:6), “The person who hunger and thirst after righteousness and shall be filled.” What that verse means is ‘the righteous are always hungry for more, they never get full but hunger for more of God. This hunger keeps growing and never goes away. (Note: God keeps pouring more righteousness into His people who desire and hunger for more and more). Do you hunger? Are you hungry for righteous and unlimited anointing? We must always be hungry for more and more of God—this is what a righteous person does, and that person is blessed (anointed) beyond measure!

Anointing is the same process as wanting righteousness. We must be hungry for more and more anointing. God’s anointing gives you the authority, power, and means to do the will of God and willing to fight against evil and darkness. Your hunger is how God measures His blessings on your life. Anointing is God’s power to get things done. Anointing is what resides in your life to fight against Satan and all that lifts up itself against Christ. We are heading into battle against the Anti-christ. You cannot fight, you cannot win without anointing. Satan will measure your strength in battle according to the anointing in your life when you confront him.

You can have a calling but no anointing, remember King Saul. It was David who God anointed, and David was always in battle. This is what anointing is to do for everyone in the Body of Christ. If you do not hear the ‘Voice of God’ calling us to battle you need to ask God to give an ear that hears God. Saul was called but he was given no anointing, but David had both and knew the voice of God, but Saul had to rely on others to tell him what God was saying.

The time is now! God is now pouring out anointing beyond measure to all who dare listen to Him and join in the ‘fight against evil’. How much anointing do you want? Ask God for anointing that keeps flowing and ask God for a sign of His anointing on your life. These are the days, like the days at the time of Pentecost. The disciples of Christ stayed and waited for the Holy Spirit that Christ promised. This is not a time of revival but a ‘Second Pentecost’, the Latter Rain, in all the fulness and anointing without measure/unlimited to all who will receive. Let’s pray, let’s wait in the presence of God for all the anointing which has been promised and is witnessed in the Bible.

Christ’s disciples did what Jesus asked, “to wait in Jerusalem for the power of the Holy Spirit (the anointing)”. If you are like me, I have been faithful and kept waiting, asking, praying with diligence for all that God has promised and willing to give—anointingwithout measure! I am always hungry for more—this is what a righteous person does.

We cannot take the anointing that God gives us for granted. It is in us, but the anointing belongs to God. We must keep our lives full of unlimited anointing (remember the story of the 10 virgins; only five kept their lives full of oil/anointing). Also, our lives can be “leaking vessels/wineskins”, anointing can deplete from out lives. Let the blood of Christ keep our lives “without spot and wrinkle” this is done through repentance and humbleness (read Revelation often so to be directed by God how to be ready and full of anointing through repentance). It is in righteous hunger that unlimited anointing keeps flowing and multiplying in our lives. As we pour our anointing into others, God replenishes the unlimited anointing into our lives.

Now is the time, now is the day of your calling with unmeasurable, unlimited anointing.

There are others

July 13, 2024 WWJWMTD by Steve, the son of John (2SoJ)

I Am Sure, There Are Others

I am sure there are others in the Body of Christ doing what the Holy Spirit has moved me to do.

Two to three months ago the Holy Spirit was moving me to pray for protection for Donald Trump and his family. I have been honoring His request, praying for protection, safety, and help for the Trump family the past few weeks. I believe in prayer and God’s willingness to protect those who He loves and wants to do His will.

I have learned over time to obey the advice and instruction of Jesus Christ: “When you pray go into your closet and shut the door.” God wants all of us when we pray to shut out the world and all other voices (shutting the door on the world) and direct our prayers as God gives us insight and perception, to pray prayers to God alone, never ever directing them to others!

I am sure others were directed to pray as God was directing me. Now what happened today (July 13th) was covered by the prayers of Christians. God wanted His people to act and obey His directive and pray for Donald Trump’s safety. God honored our prayers and I rejoice in the faithfulness of Jesus; my prayers were answered!

I am writing this as a testimony to the faithfulness of God and the love of Jesus.

Not your typical July 4th article

July 4, 2024 WWJWMTD by Steve, the son of John (2SoJ)

Not Your Typical July 4th Article

(Job, Christ & You)

Every Christian thinks that once he or she repents, all is forgiven, and God now loves you and will protect you. That line of thinking is not based on Biblical teachings. There are consequences for our sins and effects that can follow us all the days of our lives.

Recently a prominent Christian pastor resigned from his Church. It sent shockwaves through the leadership of America’s churches. What? He was forgiven! How can that be? He did not hide his sin! Why would God allow this to happen? I have never met Robert Morris, the founder of Gateway Church who resigned from his job as its senior pastor last month. This article is not directed to him, but I was asked by a close friend, Rev. D. Hauser, to write what I understand about God and Bible teachings. I do know that all Christians need to be humbled and understand that the wisdom of God is above our thinking processes and our rationale for God’s judgment. There are three truths that we all must understand and follow. We cannot follow Christ into heaven without these truths working in our lives.

One, the Book of Job has lots of insight into the ways of our Father. Job was perfect the Bible says and Job was protected by God for Job’s believing and following God in all his ways but fell none the less and Job was made a better man for it. God allowed for everything Job had to be taken away from him. Job now had to find his way back to God. Satan’s job—to steal, kill, and destroy, and this is what Satan did to Job. The one biblical attribute or quality Job did not have was the ‘fear of God’. The Bible says in Proverbs 9:10-12, New International Version (NIV), The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. For through wisdom, your days will be many, and years will be added to your life. If you are wise, your wisdom will reward you; if you are a mocker, you alone will suffer. No fear, no wisdom! As Christians we must have the ‘Fear of God’ which is, “Whatever God does, whatever God does, it is always righteous and just and our duty is to only believe, humble ourselves, and repent.”

As I am sure you know Jesus when He was praying before His death on the cross prayed that what He was about to experience would not happen but deferred rather to the will of His Father and said, “Not my will but your will be done.” The Bible makes this statement that His prayers were heard because ‘He feared God’. Christ had and chose the will of His Father but gave to Christ all he asked for—to have all the Glory He had before His life as a man on the earth.

Two, in Mathew 5:23-25, New International Version (NIV), Jesus is speaking, ”Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you, 24 leave your gift there in front of the altar. First, go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift.

25 “Settle matters quickly with your adversary who is taking you to court. Do it while you are still together on the way, or your adversary may hand you over to the judge, and the judge may hand you over to the officer, and you may be thrown into prison.”

Too often there are things in our past that have never been resolved, and Jesus is giving us wisdom on how to address these acts/behaviors of sin. These sins cannot be forgotten or forgiven us less we listen to the Holy Spirit and resolve not only our sins but also our iniquities (the impact of our sins on others—the consequences of our sins). The Holy Spirit’s job is to convict of sin, righteousness, and judgment. I must warn you not to resolve any evil deed unless the Holy Spirit directs you to do so. Only the Holy Spirit can do this, and He will direct your way how, when, and what to do or say to people you have sinned against, but failure to act when He directs you to go and resolve your sinful behavior will only result in Satan’s judgment on your life.

Three, what about you? Do not judge or become God’s judge when dealing with other people’s sins! God asked us to show kindness, forgiveness, and being a peacemaker to all who are repentant or in the process of finding forgiveness. If we judge others and do not offer forgiveness, then God is not about to forgive us of our sins. Job’s friends failed Job the Bible says, and Job had to forgive them and prayed that God would forgive them also.

God placed all our sins on Christ during His death, and I mean everyone’s sins, iniquities, and sicknesses, as well as all wrong and hateful thoughts, actions, and motives that are not good, wholesome, and righteous. Our sins became Jesus’s sins and Jesus still forgave each one of us. Jesus made all things right, so we must do the same. We must forgive others (and ourselves), bear each other’s burdens, and mourn for each other by standing in the gap, carrying our cross for others as Christ carried His cross.

Jesus did God’s will and it is time for you to do God’s will. Let’s fear God together and do what God asks of us—leaving our gift at the altar of God. It’s your turn now!

Sugar and Sin

#7: America ‘Hanging in the Balance’ a Biblical Warning!

Sugar & Sin/To Pray or Not to Pray

Try as I can, yet I cannot keep us with what God is presently orchestrating in America and throughout the world. Since the beginning of 2024, the world has been changing, and Biblical prophecy is happening all around us.

There continue to be signs in the heavens with pictures of the galaxy that amaze and change what we know and believe about how the universe works. Then there is Mother Nature who is acting erratically and in such ways that we have never experienced, surprising climatologists.

The changes in Europe’s political structures, the increase in wars, Israel fighting back for its right to exist, and people across the globe standing up for Jesus Christ—their testimonies being noted in the news media, surprising the most liberal news outlets.

What does this remind you of? Biblical prophecy being fulfilled right in front of us—The Revelation of Jesus Christ written by the Apostle of John. Every verse of the Bible will be fulfilled to the fullest before Christ comes back. What a great time to be a Christian!

But Christ’s coming does not come without tribulation, persecution, the rise of the anti-Christ, and so much more. As I mentioned in the past, this year would be like a recession and has shown all the signs of a recession, but the US Government has been pouring trillions of dollars into the economy trying to stop that from happening. Next year a possible depression, not like what we experienced in the 1930s but a depression still the same.

As sugar destroys and attacks your body so sin attacks not only your body but the whole Body of Christ if we allow it to continue to live within us. If you study the effects of sugar in our bodies, you will understand how sin works within us to destroy us. Your body cannot overcome sugar, and neither can you overcome sin by allowing it to exist in your spiritual body. As we must stop eating sugar and allow our body to heal, we must also repent of our sins, asking for spiritual healing from sin and its negative effects in our lives, and then begin the walk with Christ, keeping us from temptation. Sin is like sugar on steroids, destroying all the good in us.

There is one thing that stands in the way of evil and that is your prayers. Satan will have his way unless you pray. What God has said He would do and judge the world for their sin and their rejection of Jesus Christ will not change—His will be done, and Christ will return.

For example, in the 2020 election for president there were prophets that spoke and said do not worry Donald Trump will be president. This did not happen. Was it God’s will for Trump to be President in the 2020-2024 election cycle? Mostly likely yes. What went wrong? The Church allowed the prophets to dictate to us what to do—WE FAILED TO PRAY. The Bibles warns against this and still the Church refuses to take its place as the Body of Christ, ununified and without check and balances within its members to know when God is speaking and when man is speaking.

The Body of Christ is at a crossroads again. Are you going to pray and change history or are you merely going to sit in church and allow others to do your thinking? Where is your unity? Where are your prayers? You cannot just hear from God, but you must also see God—remember the testimony of Job. “I heard but now I see, so I humble myself and repent in front of God.” God’s will requires prayer, humility, repentance, and turning history away from the will of Satan and his followers. There are so many people who have the mark of the beast on their foreheads, you need to ask God for insight and eyes to see the enemy in front of you.

Pray, pray, and then pray some more. Read and believe the Bible more and more, do not let one verse of the Bible go unfilled in your life. Do not look back, only look ahead to Christ coming back and God’s will taking place in everything around you. YOU ARE IN A BATTLE!
