Having One Mind and One Judgment:

In Humility to Wisdom with Authority

Americans need to stand up against Satan and the Beast. I see Satan working in so many of our government-elected officials and governmental institutions; I ask myself “How did we get here?” When our elected officials take on the ‘mark of the beast’ only evil can come out of their decisions (if you cannot see this, ask God to open your spiritual eyes). I do know that the Church must have one mind and one judgment against darkness, evil, and everything that exalts itself against Christ. (l Corinthians 1:10b “…be joined together in the same mind and judgment.)

What must I do, you ask? I would ask God to send His angels into every voting station in America, and to claim the blood of Christ over all that takes place, so God’s will and purpose will be done on Election Day. If we do not ask for God’s will to be done, it won’t be done! The angels of God will fight against spiritual evil taking place in our election/polling stations in America.

I would not ask or pray but speak in God’s authority for God light to be manifested in every aspect of the voting processes throughout America. Don’t ask, don’t pray, but speak with commanding spiritual authority, “God shine your light upon all voting locations, casting out darkness and evil motives.”

We must act in authority and with God’s purposes allowing individuals who will do God’s will to be elected to office. Voting needs to be a spiritual activity (not just a voting activity) and one that is often a battle between good and evil.

I believe this election is so critical to the very life and existence of the Church in America. ‘Church, do not be passive like the world wants you to be!’ ‘Church, do not think God’s will, will be done no matter what takes place in this election!’ Most Churches did what the government told them to do during the Covid epidemic, what a colossal mistake! This cost the death of so many churches in America and exactly what Satan wanted—Satan’s purposes being manifested in our governmental decisions.

Don’t believe me? Then ask God like I did and see what He says to you. We are in a spiritual battle everyday over every aspect of our daily life. Stop being ‘lukewarm’ and accepting what the world tells you. It is God alone who speaks the truth and offers help in time of need. Stop looking to other groups, governments, and philosophies for answers. God will help America, and every American will benefit from God guiding our election process.

The Daniel Effect

America is standing in the exact same place as Rome, Jerusalem, and Babylon. Leaders of these nations were turning from God and the people had a choice, their choice determined their future.

Rome’s leadership turned to Christ (Paul mentions the household of Caesar becoming Christians and people of faith) but later in history rejected Jesus Christ; Jerusalem at the time of Christ’s ministry and crucifixion, had a choice to make, ‘believe in Christ’ or receive God’s judgment; and Babylon during the time of Daniel, either acknowledge God and serve God or be judged by God. We see all these scenarios happening in America today!

Is America going to choose leaders who believe in God and accept the Lordship of Christ? You say our government should be neutral when it comes to religion, but God says just the opposite, “Leaders must acknowledge Him and His Son.” America has been in the past a ‘God honoring and God-fearing nation’, but now that is no longer the case.

Whenever the people turn aside and elect leaders who have no regard for God, His Son, and dependance on the direction of the Holy Spirit, judgment is always quick to follow. We must have leaders who accept the Lordship of Christ! We have this choice in front of us in 3 days. The church will fall into persecution and disarray if it thinks this election is only another election and does not allow the Holy Spirit to work in our lives and nation.

We must pray, fast, and mourn for our nation for 3 days without ceasing. Pray continually and fast when you can and cry out for repentance with mourning. Then get up off your knees and step out of your closet and vote. America stands in the balance between having God’s blessing and forgiveness or experience God’s judgment and the extinction of the Church.

I choose to fall on my knees, seek forgiveness for America, and ask for Godly leadership. This is what God wants from His people—I am thankful for God’s wisdom and calling in times like this! It is God who I choose to follow and I choose governmental leadership that will allow God to work His will in their decisions for this nation.

The Nineveh Syndrome

I sense in my spirit a calling to repentance and possible destruction coming upon America. A call to repentance that is directed solely toward the Body of Christ—directed only to God’s people, His Church. It is not a calling to repent of sin that the Church has already received but a call to repentance of sin that the Body of Christ has been denying that this sin exists. Yes, a denial of sin, sin the Body has not recognized as sin. America is standing in the balance of finding repentance or receiving God’s judgment—you have a choice, either to repent or find yourself in God’s hand of judgment.

The city of Nineveh found itself in the same predicament when Jonah approached the city, calling to all the inhabitants to repent. Not only to repent but to immediately change their behavior through fasting, great mourning, returning to believing in God. There was an immediacy to this repentance, crying, seeking forgiveness, and humbleness. America is facing the Nineveh Syndrome! Will we find repentance, forgiveness, and the acknowledgement of our sin and the rejection of our sinful behavior?

Too often we turn aside when we sin. We do not recognize our sin. We ignore it, reject it, hide it, and make excuses for it. We have been carrying this sin in our lives, but God has now said, “Enough”. The Holy Spirit is no longer looking the other way but is calling for the Church to acknowledge this sin and to repent of the behavior of this sin, thereby allowing the Holy Spirit to cleanse us—making us whole and clean.

America’s Body of Christ is now like Nineveh, God is calling for repentance and renewal the likes America has never experienced. We are in this together, (Syndrome: a characteristic combination of opinions, emotions, or behavior; a grouping or togetherness.) just like the inhabitants of Nineveh. This is what makes the Nineveh Syndrome so dangerous and why the Bible talks about it in Jonah 3:5-9: “So, the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them. For word came unto the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he laid his robe from him, and covered him with sackcloth, and sat in ashes. And he caused it to be proclaimed and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste anything: let them not feed, nor drink water: But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn everyone from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands. Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not?”

The ‘Calling to Repentance’ is not like your normal or ordinary repentance but the acknowledging of the sins you are hiding from yourself, the Body of Christ, and God. Sins that focused on others when you did not sin but caused another person to sin against God. Sins that you simply avoided acknowledgement to God. Sins you were embarrassed by, so you have been hiding them from yourself, others, and God. Sins that were ‘little sins’ having almost no consequences, so you did not seek forgiveness from God. Sins of failing to be ‘bold and courageous’ and did not want to take a stand for Jesus Christ. Sins of embarrassment for being a Christian. Sins of refusal to make ‘God First in your life’ and you are serving God out of convenience and not out of sacrifice. Sins of Nineveh when you knew God but now you take God for granted and are not serving God by exercising your faith in Christ—you have become ‘warm’, not cold or hot, and you do not realize nor believe that you are ‘blind and naked’ to God (Revelation 3:14-19).

Church, you do not have much time! Judgment is imminent and comes without mercy. I challenge you…to pray and ask God, “Am I living in Nineveh?” “What must I do and should I be praying for others to repent like me?” (The Body of Christ is as one-person so repent as one-person.) The Holy Spirit is calling—humble yourself and listen to God’s voice!

Your Sins & Spiritual Readiness

Have you ever kept a record of your sins and placed them in categories? It would surprise you. A very few people in the Body of Christ say, “I do not sin anymore.” They are liars and should not be trusted with any position in the Body of Christ. Matthew 5:3, states that we are blessed if we stay in a constant state of brokenness and repentance.

Most people understand the power of their sins, though not understanding that their sins carry consequences. As soon as one thinks “they are good and/or doing better by not sinning”, they are no good to God or the Body of Christ. We are all sinners but all of us have access to God’s forgiveness that is in Christ, 24/7. This is what makes Christianity a great religion and above all other religions, because of the Trinity of God and God’s great forgiveness and non-remembrance of my sin. Once I give and acknowledge my sin to Christ and do what Christ asks of me, God honors His forgiveness and the sacrifice of His Son to me.

One of the many jobs of the Holy Spirit, to bring one to acknowledge one’s own sin. The Holy Spirit causes us to acknowledge our sin, making our sin exceedingly sinful, so we repent and ask God to remove our sin from us. It is through repentance and forgiveness that we find ourselves clean, whole, and free. Jesus did all of this for us on the cross.

Nevertheless, sin is complicated and needs great mercy; mercy David found in Christ, mercy you and I can have every day because of Christ. His love for me brings His forgiveness so I can depend on His mercy each and every day. Christ’s mercy is new to me every morning, noon, and evening of each day. This is His promise to you and me, but we must believe and ask for it each day.

Sins come under three categories, lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and pride of life. These sins affect not just the physical body but all so the mind (your mind processes), your heart (feelings, attitudes, and motives), spirit which I think is one’s personality, and one’s soul—the decision-making processes we all have. It is often the sins of pride that precede all sins. Whenever I think, act, or say that I am better than another person, more talented, better looking, or in any way better than another, this pride can move me to commit acts of transgressions, iniquities, or sins in such ways to destroy my relationship with others. (There are so many examples of this in the Bible, I could not state them all without writing a book about the prides of life and the destruction they bring.)

Here are some general Biblical concepts of sin: one, sins of not obeying the commandments of God (mostly Old Testament laws); two, the failure to obey the Words of Christ (Christ’s sayings, Sermon on the Mount, and commands He gave His disciples); three, presumptuous sins (actions and attitudes of being arrogant, over confident, pushy, rude, cocky, pompous, and smug); four, iniquities (the effect of your sin on others); five secret sins (sins that you hide not only from others but also yourself); six, sins against the Holy Spirit which cannot be forgiven, and lastly, number seven, sins of offence which the Bible says Jesus never did, He did not bruise or injury people that were weak, unable to function, castaways by society, (Isaiah 42:3says, “A bruised reed he will not break, and a faintly burning wick he will not quench.”) Jesus would not bruise someone on the inside even though they are bruised on the outside, which all could see.

We must become accountable for our sins. Finding forgiveness not only for the sins we commit but accepting and finding forgiveness for the effects of sins on others, as well as, trying to make things right when it is in our power to do so. We are called to be peacemakers not people haters. We must carry each other (carrying our cross as Jesus commanded) and that includes forgiving each other and helping others find forgiveness for their sins. You cannot do any of this without staying in a constant state of forgiveness for ourselves, others, and whoever God brings our way.

There is no readiness for Christ’s return without forgiveness and making our “robes white in the blood of the Lamb” (Book of Revelation). I encourage everyone to wake up each morning rejoicing in the mercy of Christ and willing to stay in a state of repentance and forgiveness no matter what comes our way. This is ‘walking in the Spirit’, not just allowing the Spirit to live in us (Galatians 5:25).

The Last Temptation?

Note: I suggest you read “Revelation” chapters 2&3, before reading what Phillip has written. We are in trouble if we do not repent and believe in God’s Word. Phillip writes: If all Scripture is inspired by God (and I believe it is) and meant to be used by His servants to teach and correct (2 Timothy 3: `16), then surely, we are mandated by God to know, express, and defend all of Scripture. The Bible is full of good news about our past and our future as well as our present day-to-day life. It’s full of good news for today. However, to live in the goodness of this news, there are specific and precious truths we each must learn and today, preach to ourselves, since many in Christian leadership have either caved to culture or embraced the silent mode on certain topics. Clearly, many have succumbed if not surrendered to the temptation of minimizing the importance of doctrines that are critical to the faith but offensive to the world. Today, the intolerance of anyone challenging the practice of homosexuality, in any form and to any degree, continues by attempts to revise historic Christian teaching. When anyone claims that homosexuality is God’s gift to the Church and to society, then true faithful followers of Christ Jesus must speak up and defend the clarity of the Holy Scriptures. Those that have fully embraced the Bible in its entirety, are a people bound by the Word of God; our conscience is constrained by it, and from this position, we cannot move. While we are not focusing on the sins of others and thereby ignoring our own, neither are we willing to sit silently when our culture calls a behavior, any behavior that contradicts Scripture, acceptable to God and has the blessings of Christianity. Ultimately, the issue with regard to homosexuality is a Gospel issue. Those who attempt to support homosexual practice from the Bible use approaches to the Bible that do not support the understandings historically held by the Christian church. Nowhere in the Bible will you find one positive statement about the practice of homosexuality. Every time it is mentioned, it is mentioned as a behavior (not unlike many others) in which no man or woman is to practice. Therefore, as revisionist attacks will undoubtedly continue, true faithful followers of the teachings of Christ must continue to counter attempts to make homosexuality morally acceptable and on par with heterosexuality. Not to do so undermines the historic Christian teachings regarding Biblical sexual morality. There is no doubt the battles will continue, as those who favor homosexuality appear unwilling to concede any ground, at times even defying sound, crystal clear Biblical and theological standards and truths. Clearly, today, the Bible is being pushed aside as just another book on the shelf by many. However, the Bible continues to give us the way to eternal life with God and the true answers to victorious living here on earth. The Bible as God’s Book is and shall forever remain the textbook for life where one finds the truths, the ideals, and the inspirations to guide us safely through life. Your Readiness in the Time of Judgment

God’s judgement is upon us, in fact, ‘just round the corner’ according to God’s timeline for our nation. God’s judgement always begins with His Church and His people who are called by the name of God. It scares me when God shows me what is to come, I begin to pray for so many things and can’t seem to pray enough!

It is the time for the ‘Daniel Lifestyles and Ruth Lifestyles’ in every person in the Body of Christ. We need to pray like we have never prayed before and make commitments to God that reflect the commitment and fervency of Ruth’s commitments to a people and nation she did not know.

Your prayers and commitments need to be like these two biblical characters. Praying without wavering and never ceasing, and a steadfastness to the truths and to the Trinity of God. Unafraid even with God’s judgment all around you. His judgement will be personal and corporate. You will be unprepared if you are not like Daniel and Ruth. Also, God will not answer your prayers if you have not prayed before His judgment comes, just like God states in the Bible. You will not find God’s help in time of trouble/judgment but will be judged like all unbelievers. A very sad time!

This is your warning for the day, judgment coming so quickly, so pervasive, that there is no escape. Every extra minute, pray. Every time by yourself, pray. Reach out to God in humbleness and willingness to do whatever God moves you to do without fear, doubt, and pride. This is your time because this is God’s time and the Day of the Lord.

What to Expect…What to Do…Who to Become

As my good friend Otis stated in the last article, ‘it is only in Daniel’s lifestyle and his trust in God, can we expect to survive in the days ahead’. God was telling me the same thing but in a slightly different manner due to our different personalities. I need to agree with Otis, as well as state that it is not just the ‘Daniels’ that we need to become but also the ‘Ruths’.

Ruth changed history in a much different manner than did Daniel, but both changed history in such a dramatic way that not only did it affect those around these two people, but generations and countries were impacted for years to come. We are living in such a time as this!

God is once again looking for people of faith (this is the new reset of God) to obey God above and against everything that now exists. People that are fearless, bold, uncompromising, steadfast in the faith, Bible believing Christians, followers of Christ by doing what He said we should do—ready to be persecuted for our testimony in Jesus Christ.

Where are these people of faith? Who will you become in the Body of Christ? Will you change history or merely be a byproduct of our culture? This is the greatest ‘time period of faith’ the world has ever seen! The battle is in front of us. The choice is yours—will you stand firm like Daniel and Ruth?

Otis stated clearly what I also have been feeling and hearing from God. It is stated in the verse, Philippians 4:6-8 (KJV/Steve’s editing), “Be careful about nothing (no fear, no worry, no hesitation); but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests, prayers, and your heart’s feelings be made known to God. And allow by choosing the peace of God, which ‘goes well beyond’ all understanding, allow it to keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, by doing this—whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”

We must become bold, courageous, and unwavering in our place in this world. Knowing persecution will come. We will be hated and rejected from any position in society. We will lose our friends and possibly our jobs. Fellow Christians will choose not to be a follower of Christ any longer and will turn against you, helping the antichrist to persecute and even kill you. Are you ready for this?

America will divide itself becoming many nations rather than one nation. California will become destroyed by the judgment of God because of its great sin and promoting its sin throughout the world. In fact, California will be invaded by another nation before Christ returns. A Christian will become the ‘scapegoat’ for all the destruction that comes upon the world because of God’s judgment. Will you stand with Christ and others in the Body of Christ? God is not mocked, and the Bible is true in every way and in every verse.

We need to pray (all the time) like Daniel, always praying and always seeking God to do His will. We need to make commitments like Ruth. Never turning back, always looking forward and always being humble, seeing the best God has to offer and then receiving His blessing.

This is what is to come and it is God’s reset for His Church.

The Daniel in All of Us

Daniel 10:17-19 NIV How can I, your servant, talk with you, my lord? My strength is gone, and I can hardly breathe." Again, the one who looked like a man touched me and gave me strength. "Do not be afraid, O man highly esteemed," he said. "Peace! Be strong now; be strong." When he spoke to me, I was strengthened and said, "Speak, my lord, since you have given me strength."

Once again, the angel restored Daniel’s strength so he could hear the prophetic message from the messenger and record for our learning. Twice the angels told him, "Fear not". (Dan 10:12,19). The angel also said, "Peace! Be strong now; be strong" (v. 19, NIV). Daniel needed strength to be able to hear the long message the angel brought to him. Finally, the angel made it clear that the battle wasn’t yet over. As soon as he finished instructing Daniel, Gabriel would return to assist Michael in battling the prince of Persia and the prince of Greece, two satanic evil angels who were opposing the plans of the Lord for these nations. The ruler of Persia had shown great kindness and mercy to the Jews in allowing them to return home, and Satan was against this decision. God also had plans for Greece (11:2-4) and Satan wanted to interfere there. One reason why God commands His people to pray for those in authority is so that God’s will, not Satan’s plans, might be fulfilled in their lives. I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone, for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good and pleases God our Savior 1 Tim 2:1-3 niv. The destiny of more than one nation has been changed because God’s people have fervently prayed.

"For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ" (2 Cor 10:4-5, NKJV). Luke 21:36 nlt Keep alert at all times. And pray that you might be strong enough to escape… and stand before the Son of Man." Jesus instructed us to pray asking for strength and he prayed it himself. The Greek word used here is katischuo’ and it means to prevail against. This is a valiant strength. It implies a fight, an enemy we can and will prevail over. Our English translation “Lord Almighty” is correctly translated as “Lord of heaven’s armies.” Our God is the God of war, “mighty in battle” (Psalm 24:8). We need him to strengthen our hearts, so we are as protected as if by steel, as immovable as steel. Matt 16:18 nkjv And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock, I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.

This is no coincidence that katischuo’ is used only in these two verses (Luke 21.36; Matthew 16.18). Jesus wants us the understand that it is the powers of hell that are trying to overpower us, to crush the human heart, especially the hearts of his followers. The strength God urges us to ask for is a combative strength, a strength to win the fight, to overcome. We need strength of heart, strength of mind, strength of spirit. A strength that prevails. Because there are forces urging us to quit. The temptation is to give up. How do we find the strength to prevail when we don’t even want to ask for it?

The era we just lived through, what I would call the Comfort Culture, weakened us for the trials we are facing. When you live in a world where everything is done with a few clicks on your phone, it doesn’t exactly develop resilience. Anyone living in the developed world has experienced a level of ease unimaginable to previous generations. This is the overnight delivery age. Let me be quick to say, I have fully enjoyed all the conveniences of our modern moment. But I’m also aware that they’ve made me soft. By way of contrast, the World War II generation emerged from the Great Depression with a sense of reality, grit, and resilience. So, we come into this tough moment in a compromised state. We have been set up for this loss of heart, set up to be overcome, set up to give in. Jesus knew all this, and lovingly told us to ask for the strength that prevails and there’s an urgency to his voice. Giving up has always been a struggle for frail humanity. But when Jesus urges us to ask for strength to escape, he has something particular in mind, something he sees coming; “At that time many will turn away from the faith. Matthew 24:10. I do not think we’re going to see millions of people tattooing “I hate God; I love Satan” on their chests, or marches in every major city blaspheming Jesus Christ. Satan is much cleverer than all that. I believe what we will see, what we see happening now, is simply people giving up on God in large numbers. Which is why I think the New Life version has it right: “For the Lord will not come again until many people turn away from God” 2 Thessalonians 2.3.

I bring this up because the enemy is wickedly skilled at pouncing on our vulnerabilities. He is using these trying times to cloud our hearts with unbelief. If in fact the Falling Away is sweeping the earth, we want to have advance warning. It gets in the air like poison, and we do not want to slowly succumb to it ourselves. It gains a social momentum, and since we are social creatures, we can get swept up in it without a conscious decision on our part. The pandemic put us all in a heightened state of longing for life to be good again. We rushed out to make that happen in some way, shape, or form. But every such effort disappoints, even the most fabulous vacation is not going to heal your soul from trauma. We return to a world still filled with tension and fear. Disillusionment sets us up for a serious loss of heart. We give up on God because we feel he has not come through. This is exactly what the enemy has planned all along. But this is our moment, and Jesus offers us strength, so let us seize it now with both hands while we still can. A feeling of “I don’t want to fight this” is called ennui, a weariness of spirit, a malaise, that sense of I just don’t want to fight anymore, an intensified doubt, super-doubt, mega-doubt. And this feeling is not your true heart. This is so helpful to understand; that weariness you’re feeling, that Not now, maybe later, that sense of being overwhelmed, that Why bother? Who cares? —this is the enemy not you. When you know that, you are much better prepared against it. You can more clearly choose to resist. Reject this feeling of Why bother? Who cares? and I don’t even want to fight. I choose the strength that prevails! I want to fight! I don’t want to be one of those folks who gets taken out at the end. It begins with a choice, my choice. Some people seem born with a greater measure of resilience The Comfort Culture doesn’t exactly foster that kind of physical and mental toughness. But resilience is also something that is bestowed, something imparted by God into our frail humanity. That’s truly good news. Dan 10:17-19 niv My strength is gone, and I can hardly breathe." (Daniel said) Again the one who looked like a man touched me and gave me strength. "Do not be afraid, O man highly esteemed," he said. "Peace! Be strong now; be strong." When he spoke to me, I was strengthened.

The first fruit of katischuo’ is the ability not to give up. Never surrender, never give up! The strength that prevails; this mighty, combative warrior-strength not to quit. Because when you’re tired, when you’re beat up, you just want relief. Jesus urges us to be on our guard, “so that your hearts will not be weighed down…praying that you will have the strength to escape all these things. Luke 21.34,36 nasb. Jesus says there is a means of escape. Wouldn’t you love an escape from all the madnesses? Okay then, let’s make the choice right now to receive it. How do we tap into katischuo’, the strength that prevails? It starts with being single-hearted. We are single-hearted when we cherish God above all things. Scripture promises that God will come to the help of those who are single-hearted: “The eyes of the Lord search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him” 2 Chronicles 16.9 nlt. God gives the strength that prevails to those whose hearts are fully given over to him. This is why it’s so important to stay single-hearted. Notice that before offering the strength that prevails, Jesus urged us to turn from the things that seem to offer life but instead wear us down: “Watch out! Don’t let your hearts be dulled by carousing and drunkenness, and by the worries of this life. Don’t let that day catch you unaware, like a trap” Luke 21.34-35 nlt. As we turn our hearts toward Jesus or our Father (they are one), we practice loving him. I love you, God. I love you, God. This is not feeling love; the warfare and the weariness will often make you feel rather blank. We choose to love God anyways. This is the strength that prevails, giving you the first step of courage to stand and be single-hearted. We ask him for katischuo’—his overcoming, prevailing, conquering strength. God offers it, so ask, ask, ask! By praying like this: “Father, Jesus, Holy Spirit, God of all creation, I need your strength that prevails. I don’t want to fall away. I don’t want to lose heart. I choose you above all things. I give you my allegiance and my undivided love. I choose single heartedness toward you, Lord Jesus, body, soul, and spirit, heart, mind and will. I pray for a supernatural resilience, God. Fill me with your overcoming strength, a victorious strength of will. I pray for the strength that allows me to escape all that is coming against the saints in this hour. Fill me with resilience. By faith I receive it and thank you for it. “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be added unto you” Matthew 6.33. In Jesus’ name, amen. Eldredge, John. Are You Ready? A Kingdom of God Reset is Coming!

God does so many things unexpectedly and outside of the ‘theological-box’ we place Him in. I often ask myself why, for what purpose when I read a scripture in the Bible. Take for instance the Gospel story of Moses and Elijah coming down to earth to meet with Christ. What were they talking about? What was God’s purpose? Did Jesus need some help? (Matthew 17:1-6). God was doing a ‘reset’ with His Son.

God is about to do the same again, a ‘reset’ for the Body of Christ. The breath and length of the reset I do not know, but we will see it coming and understand its importance as the reset works within the Body of Christ. This is part of the “end-times” mentioned in the Bible. This is the work of the Father, and it is marvelous in our eyes. You will not just ‘hear God’ but will ‘see God’ as Job testified to in the Book of Job, the final chapter.

A few days ago, the Holy Spirit spoke to me, stating these words, “Where are the Daniels; where are the Ruths?” No matter what God speaks to me, I usually wait for confirmations or signs to what the Holy Spirit is talking to me about. The confirmations have come, and God has started to show me what He is planning, doing, and will do soon. I am excited and humbled.

The next few articles will come from various individuals as well as myself. God is looking for Daniels and Ruths to come forth within the Body of Christ. There is much to do in politics, community, Body of Christ, and within so many individuals. Now is the time to pray like you have never prayed before—I mean take all the free time to pray, listen to the Bible being read, and always keep songs of praise on your mind, in your ears, and coming from your mouth.

God wants you prepared and committed to Him during the time of great change, while seeing the will of God taking place in all levels of our society. Satan will try to single you out through fear, discouragement, and doubt. Only in prayer, praise, and listening to the Bible being read will you overcome Satan’s attacks.

May you receive blessings for being faithful to God no matter what happens, no matter how many deceptions Satan brings your way. It is the faithful alone that inherits the promises of God and receives all that God offers to His people.

Prayer & Having Great Faith

I often ask for or pray about these things when I talk to God. I ask for great mercy, great wisdom, and great faith; deliverance from all things evil; to receive a ‘Jesus-future’ and deliverance from my past; forgiveness for my friends, family, and people who are called by the name of Christ; my ‘soul’ to rejoice in God; and lastly, to always be in love with Jesus—He is my friend, and I am grateful to Him!

I kind of bounce around when talking to God. I do not have a particular pattern or reason for my prayers, but I pray what is on my heart or spirit at that time. I like praying when no one is around and often do my best praying early in the morning when the sun is not up yet.

The items I mentioned in the first paragraph have various components when I pray about these topics. For instance, ‘faith’ has requirements to be effective, so I pray about the ingredients that make for ‘great faith’.

Faith is not just about believing. Believing is taken for granted if you are exercising faith.Consider these Scriptures when you want to allow faith to operate in your life.

1. If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV

2. God will give swift justice to those who don’t give up. So be ever praying, ever expecting, in the same way as the widow. Even so,when the Son of Man comes back, will he find this kind of undying faith on earth?” Luke 18:8 TPT

3. So likewise, when you shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do. Luke 17:10 KJV

The number one ingredient for ‘great faith’ is humility, nothing else really matters. It is the person who is humble, never stealing glory from God (it is God alone who gets the praise and respect), and when done doing great works of faith, accept no honor, recognition, or reward. Pride will steal your faith from working. Fear can get in the way of one’s faith when one is operating in faith, but you will never have great faith when pride is operating in your life.

Let’s stop comparing ourselves to each other, but instead, humble ourselves allowing others to be honored above ourselves. We should be ‘lifting up’ others and take a ‘humble position’ in the Body of Christ. "I am the least in the Body of Christ and deserve no honor or praise." If we would do this the Body of Christ would be in unity and our faith would be extremely great. Humility first, great faith second.
