Your Part in the Body of Christ

Tell Me How! (Part one)

Prophetic Teaching #4, 2017 & Beyond

I wrote this statement in Prophetic Teaching #3, “What I am about to say is two fold. One, God wants a revival that Americans have never seen before nor have ever experienced, and two, God wants to help our leadership to stop and resist what Satan is planning for America and Israel.” But you ask me how can God do this? What is my part in all of this?

The Church lost two things after the ‘early rain’ but now the Spirit of God has made manifest in these last days (latter rain) regarding the Gifts of Wisdom and Faith.

There has been confusion and miscommunication as to what the Gifts of Wisdom and Faith are meant to do and how they operate. Do not confuse ‘believing’ or ‘hoping’ or ‘understanding’ with either of these gifts. God is complex and so elaborate that He offers so many avenues for all of us to serve and please Him. He does this because we all are ‘parts of the Body of Christ’. We are made complete by being connected to each other and Christ as our headship. Do over simplify the greatness of God or allow reasonable philosophies to dictate what the Spirit of God is doing or about to do in these last days.

Wisdom is meant to be a guide and a protector. Its primary role is to identify what the Will of God is, even though it does many things for the believer and it is very diverse in operation. Wisdom has many jobs; the Book of Proverbs explains this.

Faith is simply ‘your response to the will of God’. How one responds to the will of God is so personally critical and time sensitive that often we do not receive the will of God. Do not let someone tell you, ‘you do not have enough faith or something is wrong in your life’ so God cannot help you. Nothing is farther from the truth. How you respond to God and to what extent you reply to Him is what faith is all about.

There is a reason why the Book of James says, “Strive for the faith that was once given to the saints.” Who gives this kind of faith James writes about…is it the Holy Spirit? Also, why does one need the Gift of Faith if there are Gifts of Healing and Miracles? Why is the Gift of Faith needed, if we have the Gifts of Knowledge and Prophecy in operation?

I can tell you with a great deal of confidence and truthfulness that the Gifts of the Spirit are to work in concert with each other and assist each other. They are not meant to be solo-operations. Also, do not think that you can get the Gift of Faith to work well without the Gift of Wisdom. It just will not happen and that is why the Church in these last days has been stumbling. Not all the gifts of the Spirit are in operation nor have they made level ground for all of us to run. God wants us to run and run well!

If I would give you advice on how to run with God, I would tell you to walk first. Trust that God will increase your faith every time you respond to something, anything He asks of you—even the smallest or simplest task. Every time you respond to what God asks of you, He calls you a person of faith.

Furthermore, every time you realize the difference between something that is evil (Satan’s will) and what is good (God’s will), God calls you wise. God builds on each piece of wisdom you find in Him. Before long you will be thought of as a wise person.

We will never have God’s revival unless the Gifts of Wisdom and Faith are once again in manifestation as they were in the beginnings of the early church, and America will not be able to succeed in doing God’s will in the world unless these two gifts are directing leaders.

Church, awake from the sleep you have found yourself in! The Lord has spoken again, “Arise and shine by letting wisdom and faith be your guide and response to everything around you.”

America’s power struggle

November 4, 2016 WWJWMTD by Steve the son of John

What Is At Stake?

Prophetic Teaching #3, 2017 & Beyond

As I previously stated, “Proverbs says that wisdom brings one to God. With wisdom one can grow in the Lord and find health and prosperity. But the flip side to all of this is that without wisdom there is only tragedy and spiritual darkness waiting for you.”

America is in a crossroads. This is obvious to many people in the Body of Christ. The battle for our country is at the highest level of spiritual conflict we have ever experienced. It is time the Gift of Wisdom is used, in order to guide the Church to make decisions that will ‘redeem the time’ and identify what is evil.

What is taking place within our county for the past 16 years has been nothing short than spiritual attacks by those who support the coming of the anti-Christ. If America is not broken, then those with the ‘mark of the beast’ cannot have what they want.

Our problems are coming from without, from the Middle East. If America can be stopped then Israel can be eliminated. Yes, it is simply a battle of power between who will win—the Arab countries or God’s will for Israel, and America stands in the way. If the power brokers in the Middle East can deter the power and authority of America, then they can do whatever they want to do. This is what they want:

· For America to be dependent on them—their oil and financial resources.

· Their assimilation of the political system and the control of the electoral process in America.

· A weak dollar so the world no longer depends on the financial strength of America.

· America’s inability to take care of itself—no longer self-sufficient.

· America’s failure in producing the brightest and talented thinkers & doers in the world and control over electronic communication.

· To divide America and thereby securing the inability for Americans to unite and gather strength so not to interfere in world events.

It is only God’s wisdom that can identify and offer solutions to the problems we now face. If you think this is just another election, you are so deceived and ignorant.

There needs to be a connection between the Church and political leadership at all levels of government. This will take boldness on the part of the Church. This means that members of the Body of Christ must have extraordinary power and anointing from the Lord. Authority and favor they have yet to received from the Lord.

What I am about to say is two fold. One, God wants a revival that Americans have never seen before nor have ever experienced, and two, God wants to help our leadership to stop and resist what Satan is planning for America and Israel.

This election is not solely about America’s elected officials but what could take place in Israel and specially the Middle East. This is why you will be given information on how countries in the Middle East are influencing our country.

This is a prophetic warning for all of us who believe in Christ. We must exercise wisdom, unite within the Spirit of Christ, and perform the will of God through faith. May God have mercy on us all and grant us strength in Him to be what He has always planned for us to do before the Creation. God has spoken again…be bold and be wise.

How stupid can one be?

November 3, 2016 WWJWMTD by Steve the son of John

What If?

Prophetic Teaching #2, 2017 & Beyond

What if so many prophetic words are proven to be false? What if so many biblical scholars are wrong? What if what you have been led to believe is now wrong? What if…?

“Wisdom cries in the streets,” Jesus said. What is this wisdom? What was Jesus eluding too? Jesus continues, “Wisdom is justified of its children.” So not everyone has wisdom but true wisdom makes those who have it justified. Are you then justified in Christ without wisdom? I do not think so.

Proverbs says that wisdom brings one to God. With wisdom one can grow in the Lord and find health and prosperity. But the flip side to all of this is that without wisdom there is only tragedy and spiritual darkness waiting for you.

Wisdom helps you to identify what is from God and what is from Satan. If you do not respond to wisdom’s call to what God is saying, doing, wanting from you, then only judgment awaits you. This is why Jesus cried over Jerusalem before His crucifixion. “If only, if only you would have known? If only you would have recognized and responded to what God was doing? But you didn’t, so your judgment is coming and your city (Jerusalem) will be completely destroyed.”

The Bible says that God no longer turns aside or ignores sin and evilness. Now that Jesus has made a way into life and truth, God does not take your rejection of truth lightly. Reject truth (wisdom in action), you reject God personally. “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” The Holy Spirit is now at work in the world. He is carrying out God’s plans and purposes. He speaks to us in many different ways so everyone can know and respond to God the Father and accept His Son Jesus.

Satan, however, still goes about creating as much confusion and doubt as he can. He only seeks to kill, steal and destroy all that God has done or what He is planning to do. This is why Satan works to confuse not only the world’s population but also the Church. I find confusion everywhere I turn. Satan likes the people of God to be in doubt and darkness—without spiritual reasoning or truth. Wisdom is to correct this dilemma.

Oh, how stupid we can be without God’s wisdom of truth guiding us along. That is why so many prophecies have failed. Why so my church teachings do not work. It is because wisdom was not in the mix. People spoke and wrote without the Holy Spirit of truth and its wisdom offering to do the works or give the insights.

Do not try and figure out the how, why or to what extent God is doing what He is doing. You cannot even begin to reason out what God can do or is planning to do. I accept the Bible at face value and I believe in the working of the Holy Spirit convicting me of sin, judgment and righteousness. I accept, I believe, and I respond to wisdom. I am daily seeking His face, His righteousness, and His mind; His wisdom pushes me to do so.

This is why I can say with confidence that only 25% of prophecies will be found out to be true and correct. Why only 25% of denominational theology is correct and helpful to the Kingdom of God. ‘Only 25% of the seed that is planted brings forth a yield’, Jesus said on the Sermon on the Mount. And last but not least, only 25% of Jesus’s followers were in the Upper Room on the day of Pentecost. With all of this in front of us, I can safely say, “Only 25% of all Christians are willing to let ‘their smartness’ be overridden by the wisdom of the Holy Spirit.”

It is not ‘the religious’ that find wisdom but those who respond to the miraculous activity of God. Jesus said, “Many have I called but few have I chosen.” Be a chosen—find wisdom! God has spoken, may God’s grace bring us the wisdom that is offered in the Holy Spirit.

Tempting God

October 2, 2016 WWJWMTD by Steve the son of John

If His People Would Not Tempt God…

Prophetic Teaching #1, 2017 & Beyond

Jesus said, ‘Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.” God takes it seriously if you believe in Him and yet tempt Him. The second temptation of Christ by Satan was to get Christ to tempt God. I see people all the time tempting God, what a mistake! It is almost as if no one considers that they could even tempt God or the Spirit of God. Church, it is time wake up and exercise wisdom!

Satan tries to get us to either seduce God to do things our way or that it does not matter to God, i.e., we believe that God does not care what we do in a particular situation if it is reasonable. Wisdom says: It always matters to God when Satan shows up. All of life is a decision: is God right or is Satan right? What will you decide? Where does your loyalty lie? Choose this day—either God or yourself!

Jesus chose humility over being important. When Satan is offering advice, you can count on it being wrong. We can either accept our wisdom or God’s wisdom. God’s wisdom is ‘keep doing what the Spirit of God has told you to do until God says otherwise’.

Doing the will of God is critical but often it is ‘the easy way out’ that we choose. “I am hunger, tired, thirsty, and just plain worn out!” We can always make up our mind to undo the will of God. Besides, God will take care of us, “I am important to God so He will take care of me no matter what I choose.” These two lines of thinking (or speaking) is tempting God.

If Jesus had failed the second temptation, the next temptation would not have been needed. Are you giving up? Do things seem hopeless? Is God’s plan for your life just too hard to manage? Is your pride so great you disregard the simple will of God? All of us have all felt like this many times.

“If anyone lacks wisdom (the book of James says) let him ask of God.” Wisdom is the only gift or attribute of God that identifies and defines what evil is. Without wisdom you cannot know what evil is. So how many of you are exercising wisdom to know evil or its counterpart, the will of God? You cannot know one without the other—wisdom shows you the difference (this is why Proverbs was written).

I am amazed that often believers think they are smart enough and their reasoning sound enough so they can deviate from the will of God. Let me be frank, God wants His will to be done all the time. You cannot be God’s counselor, God knows best.

I can tell you that if God’s will is not done in the little things in your life—the simple and non-important things, then I am sure you will fail in the life changing events that will confront your life. Our nation’s election in 6 days is a prime example of either your will or God’s will being done. What is your choice? How are you praying? Are you smarter than God?

I can tell you with all surety that if God’s choice of elected officials are not elected during this election cycle, we, as Christians, will be suffering such bondage as has never been imaged or ever seen in America. The tragedies that are approaching America over the next few years will take courageous and God appointed individuals in our Houses of Government just to keep things operational. If we do not seek and secure God’s will in November then what is coming upon America will impact Christians so severely that we will be ‘racing to catch up’. I am not making this us, hard times are coming and God wants to help. For myself, I rather be living in peace and prosperity than in confusion and financially ruined. (More to come about all of this.)

Have wisdom! Allow God’s will to be done! May God have mercy on America! Choose God by choosing God’s will. It is better to have obedience than sacrifice with brokenness. God has spoken, may the Church have ears to hear and not choose to tempt our Lord.

Being a culture changer

November 1, 2016 WWJWMTD by Steve the son of John

Character Series

Staying Neutral?

So many of us have been told again and again that Christians need to stay neutral. To be Christian, I am told, is to be neutral, tolerant, and a pacifist when it comes to popular culture and the political arena.

Tell that to Christ or Paul or Peter or John the Baptist. All these men were persecuted and killed for speaking out against evil leaders (politicians). God wants His people to take a stance against philosophies that imprisoned people or injustices that take advantage of others.

What does the Bible say? Psalms 58 directly implicates politicians and the evil within a society:

Justice? You high and mighty politicians don’t even know the meaning of the word! Farness? Which of you has any left? Not one! All your dealings are crooked: you give ‘injustice’ in exchange for bribes. These men are born sinners, lying from their earliest words! They are poisonous as deadly snakes, cobras that close their ears to the most expert of charmers. (The Living Bible, 1971)

How can we be called a son or daughter of God if we do not take a stance for what is good and right? Will God reward us for good works if we do not fight with words and actions of our own against injustices? Are you going to let the political climate dictate and control how you respond to societal evils? I hope not!

If you are not persecuted, if you are not spoken against, if you do not have enemies, then I can say with confidence, “You are no good to God!”

Jesus said, ‘That if He is persecuted, so will you; if the world hates me (Jesus), then it will hate you also’. When did God promise you a life without ever standing up for His principles? You can exercise all the talents and gifts God has given you and do not stand-up against evil, and then God will say, “I never knew you!” on the judgment day.

You are not God’s friend without boldness. You will never be given a mountain by God to call your own unless you are willing to fight against evil. Your name will not show up in the Book of Life if you cannot ‘love God with your strength’.

Yes, it is that important to God that you confront all that is contrary to the Gospel of Christ. Have Christ? Then have His boldness of character to be a culture changer.

Books to Read

October 31, 2016 WWJWMTD by Steve the son of John

Book Recommendations

There are various items that are recommended to me each month. I like to read but finding time to read and analyze what is given to me usually takes time. Nevertheless, when something good comes my way I feel obligated to pass the recommendation along.

Here are four books that I believe are good reads but very different in nature. I hope one of them will find its way into your Christmas stocking or on one of your Christmas lists to a family member or friend. Enjoy!

If you like history then Brian Kilmeade book, Thomas Jefferson and the Tripoli Pirates, is the book for you. It is an easy read, very interesting, and full of history most people never studied in school nor is commonly talked about today. It is a story that reads like a ‘modern day thriller’, it has life’s lessons with at times Christian principles in the mix, and it challenges us to have courage in the face of unknowns.

Battle Ready by Steve Farrar is a must for all Christians to read. Steve Farrar has written a few books, all are worthy of finding a way into your personal library, but this particular book will assist you with understanding the will of God and how to claim it for your life. You must have courage to do God’s will and the biblical story of Joshua and Caleb finding their way into the Promise Land is your guide. It is very easy to read and easy to apply…it will change your life!

The book, Outrageous Courage, by Kris Vallotton will be one of those books you will read over and over. The stories are challenging, unbelievable, and supernatural. You will ask yourself throughout the book, can I also do that? This book will challenge your ability to be obedient to God’s voice. It will move you to have faith you thought never would be possible. I rate this book up with the classic Christian book, The Cross and the Switchblade. It is another book about the power of God and how God is willing to do anything for those who can believe in Him.

Last but not least, a delightful book that should not be read silently but read aloud to others. The book, A Silhouette Unopened, The Golden Keys, is by Jan Britt. The story begins, “On a beautiful summer morning, a 10-year old girl sets out on a routine adventure, high in the mountains she calls home. Little did she know that today’s adventure would be unlike any other. Today, she will encounter something special, something divine.” It is a mystery story but with deep Christian meaning and a wonderful story line. It is an ideal book for parents to read to their children; both parent and child will benefit from reading this story of trusting God.

Of Critical Importance

October 26, 2016 WWJWMTD by Steve the son of John

The Election Year 2016: Critical Importance For Us All

I cannot express enough the critical importance of the November 2016 election. It is not just another election! The choice is not between two undesirable presidential candidates. This election is about the Church, Israel and the Coming of Jesus Christ.

I have never been this passionate about an election ever before. I never prayed much about political figures or any election process. But, this year the Holy Spirit has made it a priority. This election is not about chance or the electorate. It is an election between good and evil. It is between ‘God’s will to be done’ or Satan’s dominance in the affairs of a nation.

With only a few days left I have been encouraged to write a final article about my impressions, what is to come, and what I have been doing. God wants to strengthen His Church, and for reasons only God knows at this time, His Church of believers play an important and critical role in the outcome of this election.

Who fears the Lord? I do! I do not confess that I can counsel God, and I believe that anything God does or wants to happen is always just and right. God is God alone and there is no one beside Him! It is for that reason alone—the fear of the Lord—that I write the following statements.

Everything I am writing has been confirmed with 2 to 3 other witnesses in the Body of Christ and through various scriptures when applicable.

· God told me months ago to pray for the protection of Donald Trump—even when I wanted other candidates to become the nominee.

· The Spirit of God impressed upon me to understand and communicate that this was going to be a hard fought election. People needed to pray!

· I have had various fellow Christians call or email me about what God was telling them to do in this election cycle—more and more it was how to support Donald Trump.

· Hillary Clinton does not have your or mine best interests in mind. She is anti-Christ, she has an evil spirit within her, and she has the mark of the beast on her life. She is doing the will of Satan and not only her but also her political party and her election machine. This has been confirmed over and over again.

· If you do not pray for ‘God’s will be done’, you will be supporting Satan’s evil desires and Satan’s purposes.

· You need to fast and pray over the next few days before this election. Get rid of the all outside voices, the media, your personal preferences, or any thought process that would hinder your prayers.

· I am praying for you! That God gives us a unity in the Spirit and a oneness in our prayers.

· This election is not just about the peace and prosperity of the saints in America, which it is, but also about Israel. I am persuaded that Arab nations in the Middle East are behind the Democratic Party in this election year. They want United States to become weak and immobile so that can destroy Israel or in the least make it impoverished.

Do not be weak! Do not try and figure out what God wants or why! Do not think you are smarter than God! I truly am telling you the truth—there is so much at stake in the election, your reasoning cannot predict nor can you understand the wisdom of God. If good wins out over evil, you will be so surprised and speechless to see the Hand of the Lord moving among us all.

May the Grace of God strengthen you to do what is good and proper!

The Politics of the Anointed One

By David Hauser, Regional Director of the International Healing Rooms

Joshua 5:13-15 Joshua said, "Whose side are you on? Are you for us or are you against us? He said, ‘Neither, I’m commander of God’s army. I’ve just arrived.’ Joshua fell, face to the ground, and worshiped."

What shapes our attitudes and feelings? Is it a slight, or a statement someone has made! Does it proceed from our emotions, which have become inflamed from past behaviors, a news article, advertisement, or policy that we disagree with? What happens when neither choice seems good? Are you having to decide between two evils?

Has the church forgotten how to pray? Should we just abstain from voting? Is it about us, or as a prophetic people can we see into the future and its implications if we are not involved? If you are a strict Calvinist, does it even matter?

We know that God has placed us into this world to be salt and light. Has the salt lost its savor; or has its light grown dim? I think not! Does the Anointed One want us to vote?

The question then arises, is there a Cyrus in the mix that God could use? Was Cyrus a perfect king? Does either of these candidates show a propensity to be influenced by the Holy Spirit? Could I be fooled by what they say? The Scripture says, "The eyes are the window of the soul." What do you see in their eyes?

Which candidate seems to be supported by the ‘World System’? There seems to be Christians all over the map when it comes to whom they will support. In the natural mind I think it is understandable. But I ask once again; does God support Partial Birth Abortion? Does God want us to have a free choice to serve Him, without government intrusion? Should Chaplains in the armed services be free to talk about Jesus in their prayers? Does God care about the poor, the widow and the orphan? All these questions should inform our decisions. But most of all we should ask God what He is saying, not what we feel because of a person’s past, or foolishness of the present. Ask God who is most open to be influenced by the Holy Spirit.

It is out of character for me to post an article on politics. Yet this is a reflection of my prayers and concerns for God’s kingdom to flourish once again in the hearts of men and women in this great land. "May the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable in His sight." Written by David Hauser

The Year 2017

October 20, 2016 WWJWMTD by Steve the son of John

A Spiritual Revival in the Making: A look into 2017

I made the following statements about a year ago regarding the year 2016. I mentioned in my article, Year 2016, that it would be a ‘transitional year’ for the Body of Christ. (You can find the details to this article in my blog, wwjwmtd.com.) I stated:

v 2016 will be a “transitional year” for the Body of Christ—do not expect things to continue as they once were.

v It is time to drop labeling within God’s Church. Try to avoid terms or identification wording that divides the Body of Christ.

v The ‘Media’ will not give us the complete picture or proper reasoning to making wise decisions. Do not depend on media sources to give you all the facts or means to make good decisions.

v The dependence on the Holy Spirit is critical this year. Allow Him to comfort you, to guide you, to strengthen you, and bring the peace and presence of Christ to you each and every day.

v Sin will become even more attractive this next year. If there is one thing I feel God is telling me is to be an overcomer in all things.

v Strive to be ‘all in’! There will be even more and more Christians this next year that will not want to be a Christian anymore.

v The Transitional Year of 2016 is for the preparation of the coming years of the working of the Holy Spirit. We need to get ready. What God wants to do and is preparing us to do in His Presence (the Holy Spirit), which will be nothing short of miraculous.

v And finally regarding the election process for President. I stated that if you allow votes to decide the November election outcomes by not praying that God choose the next cycle of political leaders then you will lose so many freedoms; you will become dishearten and be unable to know what to do next. This election is a spiritual battle between the Church and Satan.

These predictions have or are presently taking place. However, it is next year, 2017, which is now my focus.

I was busy yesterday working with my horses when ‘out of the blue’ the Holy Spirit said, “It is now time for revival.” I was taken back to say the least and became very excited. I have always loved studying about revivals in church history, and I can tell you stories about revivals in my lifetime that I had a part in or experienced as a young boy.

I do not know if you have ever been part of a deep and significant revival. It is nothing like anything else you experience in Christ. God’s revivals are instantaneous, overwhelming, all consuming, and full of the unexpected. I have experienced two major revivals and two smaller, less significant revivals. All were within America and all greatly impacted my life. After they ended I cried and asked God why they had to end. I wanted these spiritual movements to continue and why not? They brought life to me along with purpose and meaning. They were a bit of heaven on earth! They had a ‘wow-factor’ that only God can produce, which you could never imagine.

I believe next year can be a ‘year of revival’ for many who ‘believe and desire’; no, not just a renewal or an awakening but a true revival…a revival like the Jesus Movement of the 60’s and 70’s or Azusa Street in 1906-10 or the Charismatic Movement of the late 1050’s and early 1960’s.

I want you to be faithful to what God is presently saying and/or asking of us. We must be faithful in order to be ready and part of any great revival. I am so excited! Yes, I am ready for another revival! I am ready for the Holy Spirit leading the charge! I am ready for God to surprise me! I am ready for Jesus…are you?

Twilight

I John 1:7, "If we walk in the light as He Himself is in the light, we have fellowship one with another."

If we have the mind of Christ as the Word teaches, why then is there so much division? Do you ever just get irritated with a brother or sister because you just don’t see it the same way? When I was newly married I would go to family Sunday dinners and we knew not to talk theology, politics, and God forbid that we would talk about Eschatology, which would ruin our Sunday afternoon. We are all so opinionated even when it came to the Essentials of the Faith. I knew that anger does not produce the righteousness of God James 1:20. So I have learned to keep my mouth shut. This is sometimes good, sometimes not.

The problem was that we all felt we had a handle on end-time events, or we were judging the motives of each other, or what is happening now in the upcoming election.

Proverbs 25:26 talks about a muddied stream, and First Corinthians talks about seeing through a glass darkly. As I meditated the other day on these verses, I felt I heard the Lord say, the reason for so much confusion is so many of us are living in the Twilight. It is as if one foot is in the night and one foot is in the light. It’s like a no man’s land where there is a lack of clarity, a lack of hearing of what God is saying and doing. The end result is that it produces uncertainty and confusion.

A friend once said to me that predators hunt most often when the light is dim, such as the early morning or the beginning of the evening. The reason for this is there is a lot of camouflage at these times, and if we are not in the light of His Presence we can be caught in some form of deception, because of a lack of clarity in what God is saying. Even though we think we can see, the predator can see us but we cannot see it. Jesus referenced this problem in the Gospels, “Having eyes but not able to see.”

Everyone seems to have an opinion! May we all ask God what is He saying! We must be sensitive and open to the Spirit of the Lord. This only happens as we quiet our soul, and say, "Speak Lord your servant is listening" I. Samuel 3:9.
