God’s People Die for Lack of Knowledge/Truth.
Hosea 4:6a states, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…” When truth cannot or will not be accepted, God gives a warning. There are pastors that speak the truth when it applies to events happening in our culture, and I believe their words are true. This verse applies to all truth no matter if it comes from the Bible or common knowledge found in our society. We must recognize truth no matter where it is found. This is why, I believe, the article from pastor, Dr. David Fischer, is so important for today’s Christians. Bible principles must be applied to all knowledge in order to discover if it is a lie or the truth. I believe Dr. Fischer states the essence of measuring statements against truth found in Jesus Christ. He states:
I will give several examples of lies that are being told every day in our nation. If people knew the actual statistics, these lies could be exposed and therefore canceled. I have done a lot of research on these examples to find the most trustworthy sources of facts.
1) Transgenderism: pewresearch.org says that 1.6% of Americans identified as trans in the US population in 2022. For all the news media time spent on this issue, you would think half the population was" trans". Can you believe the amount of media hype that this 1.6% of Americans receive and that the other 98.4% of us are therefore obliged to hear?
2) Gay marriage: usafacts.org says in 2021, 1.2% of all married couples were same-sex. How about some heterosexual pride parades, to honor the other 98.8% of married couples in America?
3) Unarmed Blacks killed by police. With all the rioting and burning of cities in the summer of 2020, surely more than 1,000 unarmed Blacks are mowed down by police every year in America, right? Wrong. The Manhattan Institute quoted a USA Today article on July 3rd, 2020, the same year that George Floyd was killed, "The Washington Post’s database of fatal police shootings showed 14 unarmed Black victims and 25 unarmed white victims in 2019." What??? Is the endless media blast that we are getting really proving systemic white supremacy or could it be, instead, a growing proof of anti-white racism?
Can you believe the amount of police who have been brow-beaten into resigning or had their salaries defunded because of deaths that are supposed to be sweeping the nation? BTW, the property damage in the rioting across the US after the death of George Floyd, caused from $1 billion to $2 billion of damage, according to axios.com. Most of this happened in impoverished neighborhoods to people of color.
4) "Ban assault rifles!" shouts our President. What do the stats say? The FBI homicide table shows that rifles were involved in only 3.5% of all gun deaths in 2019 (latest year available). Think you’ll ever hear that in the media?
5) I heard this LAST NIGHT on the news, "CDC reports 1 in 4 teenagers identifies as LGBT". What? I backed up the TV to see the headline over the chart being used. It said, "CDC reports 1 in 4 teenagers identifies as LGBT OR QUESTIONING! But the host did not read those last word two words. EVERYBODY QUESTIONS THIS at some point in their life, if only from curiosity. The left mob is pushing teenagers to question their identity, and then they send out a rigged questionnaire, "Do you ever wonder if you’re another gender", and then report 25% of youth "identify" as LGBT. It’s a scam! Earlier in that newscast, the host said that only 2.5% of teenagers had actually "experimented" with same-sex activity!
6) The 1619 Project? The New York Times introduced this movement by announcing that America began, not in 1776, but in 1619, when the first slave ship arrived on the Atlantic coast. Those ships were British! And continued to be, until America first became a Constitutional Republic 169 years later in 1788, when the 9th colony ratified the United States Constitution. England outlawed slavery in 1833. The Republican Party was formed in 1854 to prevent slavery from being introduced to any new states added to the Union. We lost 600,000+ lives over this issue in the Civil War. The Emancipation Proclamation, outlawing slavery in the United States, was introduced by President Lincoln and enacted on January 1, 1863. It seems like some are trying to rekindle another civil war 160 years later.
7) Two days ago, I heard a man say on a talk show that he had two daughters in high school in the San Francisco area. "Who was George Washington?" he asked them. "He was the first President of the United States, and he was a slave owner," they replied. That’s all they knew about him, thanks to their CRT "education".
8) I googled "number of genders in 2023" and was told 105! Only two genders produce human life–male and female. Genesis 1:27-28 These are determined by x and y chromosomes which are built into each of the 100 trillion cells in the human body; they cannot ever be changed. The Essentials of Human Embryology, by Keith Moore: "Human development begins after the union of male and female cells during a process known as fertilization or conception. Fertilization is a sequence of events that begins with the contact of a sperm with an ovum and ends with the fusion of their nuclei and the mingling of their chromosomes to form a new cell. This fertilized ovum known as a zygote is a large diploid cell, that is the beginning of a human being." How can all the new "gender theories" ever claim to be "science"?
We are witnessing an attempt by a small minority of vocal activists who have emerged from leftist universities over the last four generations, who are shouting their false "narratives", including journalists, teachers, politicians, TV and radio pundits, CEOs, tech giants, billionaires, Hollywood celebrities, and sports figures. I dislike the use of the word "narrative". It is not a nice little story; it is a lie.
Tucker Carlson said last week that with all the lies in circulation, we can no longer argue our political positions with facts that both sides will accept. He said he is no longer looking at Democrat/Republican, Conservative/Liberal, or left/right divisions. He believes the issue now across America is simply GOOD vs. EVIL. We can no longer assume that everyone wants the best for America and simply disagrees on how to achieve it. There are significant groups within our country who actually want to harm and destroy what America has stood for. He said GOOD is universally recognized as "love, order, peace, and cleanliness" and EVIL is the opposite, "disorder, conflict, hatred, and filth." Check out the inner-city crime, bail, drug, and homeless policies of Chicago, Baltimore, Philadelphia, New York City, Washington D.C., San Francisco, Los Angeles, Portland, Seattle, and other large cities in "blue states".
Tucker Carlson, whatever anyone thinks of him, also said that bad things now happening in our country are a "manifestation of some larger force acting upon us". He suggested, "Maybe we should all take…10 minutes a day to say a prayer about it." Good idea! Will you join me? Let’s "PRAY 10 MINUTES A DAY FOR THE USA". Pass it on!
