I can no longer be silent

June 18, 2021 WWJWMTD by Steve, the son of John

I Can No Long Keep Silent

My heart has been heavy. I often feel like mourning. God has been talking, getting me to listen—not to talk. But I can no longer keep silent, there is too much to say and so little time to say it all. You might not like what I will be saying in the next few articles. They come with no apology or reservation. The wrath of the Lamb is upon us and if you cannot see or hear it, you need to repent—not tomorrow but today!

Psalm Chapter 15 (NIV)—read this every day until the Holy Spirit says to stop!

Lord, who may dwell in your sacred tent?
Who may live on your holy mountain?

The one whose walk is blameless,
who does what is righteous,
who speaks the truth from their heart;
whose tongue utters no slander,
who does no wrong to a neighbor,
and casts no slur on others;
who despises a vile person
but honors those who fear the Lord;
who keeps an oath even when it hurts,
and does not change their mind;
who lends money to the poor without interest;
who does not accept a bribe against the innocent.

Whoever does these things
will never be shaken.

Have you been shaken lately by worldly events? Has your faith been challenged? Have you felt no motivation to pray? Have your requests to God gone unanswered?

The Holy Spirit is asking you, me, and our families to become a Psalm Chapter 15 Christian; not tomorrow but today. We must begin to respond to the moving of the Holy Spirit and repent with Godly sorrow. This is what Christ is saying to His people!

One wish

May 24, 2021 WWJWMTD by Steve, the son of John

A Thoughtful Truth for the Week

If God granted you one wish, what would it be?

Mathew 4:7 KJV, “Jesus said unto him, ‘It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God’.”

If I had one request given freely by God, it would be simple that the Church would quit tempting the Lord our God. I believe it is the one sin that is least talked about in our churches.

A good example of tempting God has been the Body of Christ not treating their bodies well (i.e., with exercise, fresh air & sunlight, eating wholesome/fresh foods, taking vitamins/minerals, etc.); not avoiding harmful foods, living destructive lifestyles, and refusing to pay attention to what your body needs to fight infections and diseases. The Corvid-19 Virus took its toll on so many people who kept tempting God thinking that God would help them in time of need—this is a sin—the sin of tempting God. If it is in your power to do what is right, do not think that God will protect you when you chose harmful behavior. You should not do it!

How good are you?

May 17, 2021 WWJWMTD by Steve, the son of John

A Thoughtful Truth for the Week

If Jesus would not call Himself ‘good’, where does that leave you & me?

Luke 18:19 NKJV, “So Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God.”

Three men in the Bible had to come to grips with not considering themselves good, righteous, or significant—the Apostle Paul, Peter the disciple of Jesus, and Job. All three men had a face-to-face encounter with Jesus and after their encounters with ‘seeing Jesus’, they saw themselves as unworthy, un-honorable, and a complete/total sinner. They realized that there was no good in their lives nor could they do ‘the goodness’ that only God could do. They learned/realized that only God was good.

Is God paying attention?

May 16, 2021 WWJWMTD by Steve, the son of John

God is not silent; He is not looking the other way!

Much too often we feel that God is not listening, or He is not looking at what is taking place in our culture? But, the opposite is true. The Bible says God used to look the other way but after Christ’s death on the cross, God no longer gives man the option to go unnoticed nor live without consequences for his behavior.

God is indeed speaking often; I see Him working in the lives of His people and the nations of this world. In fact, I am indeed afraid that we will not be ready for what is next (i.e., what will come upon us) for people who are not considering the consequences of their decisions and actions. God reminded me today of the fourth horse (death) and his role upon this earth. Revelation chapter 6 verses 7-8 (KJV): “And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. And, I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.”

So much has taken place in America this past year. God has allowed a new administration to take the lead in this nation. Why, because it is time for judgment. God has allowed prophetic words to fail, (Trump would not win a second term in office), why, God’s judgment. The fear of the Covid-19 virus destroyed people’s livelihood and because of poor decisions on the part of politicians and the CDC the virus killed individuals who should have never died; why, God’s judgment. (Nevertheless, judgment does not come without mercy.)

Winds from heaven are now blowing over this land, why, God’s judgment. I hear, these words from heaven, “Time is short; Christ is at hand;” why, God’s judgment. Creation (mother nature if you wish) is in turmoil; why, God’s judgment. And now, great trouble in Israel; why, God’s judgment. God is telling each one of us, “Get ready!”

Let me state again what I have been saying for the past couple of years. “California will not make it, nor will it recover from the hand of God’s judgment because it has promoted, enticed, and deceived this nation by its sin”. Furthermore, Washington DC will also not exist—I believe it will be gone within 40 years. Everything people have sought to solve their problems and to give them prosperity will soon be taken away. The four horsemen will accomplish God’s will, punishment, and purpose to place everything under Christ’s feet will come to pass sooner than you think.

There is only one thing to do! We must find repentance and stand upon the seashore of God’s presence in order to feel the waves of heaven washing over us.

The next few articles I will be writing will help you (all of us) to do just that—to find shelter in the time of Christ’s wrath. The whole world will fear the wrath Jesus Christ! It is here and it is now!

To believe and not to love

May 10, 2021 WWJWMTD by Steve, the son of John

A Thoughtful Truth for the Week

To believe in Jesus has little to do with loving Him.

Jesus said even the devil believes in Jesus, but it is those “who keep my commandments” that love Me. It is time to work more on loving Jesus instead of solely trusting in your ‘believing in Him’. Our churches are too full of those who say they believe, but their heart and actions are far from the truth of Jesus Christ. Let’s love Jesus more and believe less—if there is such an option.

If you are looking to love Jesus more since you believe in Him, try supporting the educational program “Foundations of Freedom”. It is something you can do to demonstrate your love for Jesus and thereby become proactive by bringing Jesus into local schools, community groups, and civic organizations.

This program is Holy Spirit inspired, tested, and given ‘a stamp of approval’ by many litigation and legal organizations in America, and most importantly, it is free for all participants. All you must do is ‘get the Word out’ and support the implementation of this program in schools. So, in the 2021-22 school year let’s have this option for kids.

You can read about the program on the website address, www.foundationsoffreedom.org. So do something for Jesus and begin to impact America’s schools by sharing what God has done for America from its conception. It is time for the “Foundations of Freedom” to sweep through our schools and once again have ‘the Truth’ spoken in our school classrooms through the lives of Christian students.

Message From Jesus Culture

April 29, 2021 WWJWMTD by Steve, the son of John

A Message from Jesus Culture in California

“Having Joy and Expressing Gratitude”

Do you ever feel like your joy is under attack?

What do we do when we feel like our hope is struggling for survival? We must come together and acknowledge when things don’t feel okay.

Denial is not Jesus’ will for our lives.

Instead, let’s (1) Practice Gratitude:

Check out this verse- Romans 15:13, “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.”

When we take steps towards daily gratitude, we invite the God of hope to fill us with peace.

Write down 3 positive things that happened this week and thank Him.

(2) Invite Community In.

This is really simple and powerful…

After we remember and celebrate what God is doing, reach out to someone that knows you.

It’s not rare for our team members to call each other and simply ask, “Can you remind me of who I am?”

Call or text someone close to you. Be honest with them- how are you feeling? What do you need? What can they do for you?

We get it, life is absolutely hard sometimes.

One thing we know to be true is that He will always pull beauty from the ashes.

There is joy set before us. Hang in there. He’s not done. You got this!

Truth for the week, doing something for Jesus!

April 28, 2021 WWJWMTD by Steve, the son of John

A personal testimony

April 27, 2021 WWJWMTD by Steve, the son of John

A Personal Testimony

My heart and spirit was wounded by what has recently taken place in America, and then add to it what God has shown me what will take place shortly. America is in such a difficult place with just one option being offered by God, His Son Jesus will come back.

As my heart mourns, I feel the ‘waves of heaven’ moving over my life and across America. Waves of repentance and hope; waves of rejoicing and the wrath of God. In a few short years change initiated by God will overtake every American, and therefore, I fear for each and every life. Will the Church be ready? Will America accept what the will of God is for our nation? God wants me to offer hope and truth in my writings to encourage Christians and bring the ‘fear of God’ into our decision-making processes.

I have been crying a lot—for hours, days, and weeks. Crying out to God for humility, sanctification, purity, and the increase of love in my life. God keeps telling me to love not this world or things in this world but to love Him with my heart, soul, mind, and strength. Each one of these aspects of my body is different and all require different responses. I cannot say because I love God with my heart that I love Him with my mind or soul or strength. I must give all four aspects of my body to Christ and love Him individually with each aspect of who I am—heart, mind, soul, and strength. God wants all of me to love Him and to love nothing else.

Why, because what will shortly take place in my state, California; my nation, USA; and the world. The wrath of God’s Son will be great and complete, and no one will escape His judgment. Therefore, I am crying, and this is how the waves of heaven have been affecting my life. There is no escape for me; He has captured me through His love!

We must allow God to do whatever He desires in our lives and to bring about “Jesus in us, the hope of glory” so God receives all the glory, honor, and praise due to His great name.

Truth for the week, “No excuses!”

April 9, 2021 WWJWMTD by Steve, the son of John

A Thoughtful Truth for the Week

People who love Jesus do not make excuses!

Instead, they love God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, therefore they do not make excuses for their behavior. Rather, they have learned to repent and forgive, hunger after righteousness in order to do good deeds, and exercise the judgment of God by doing actions of justice and confronting all that is from Satan.

Is Jesus you friend?

April 8, 2021 WWJWMTD by Steve, the son of John

Is Jesus Still Your Friend?

(Or Has He Become Your Enemy?)

It is sad to think that we lose friendships over time. Things change; we change and before we realize it, our closest friends are no longer as close as they use to be. In fact, too many of our once close friends become a distant memory instead of that close loving and dependable friend. The same happens with our relationship with God.

Too many of us allow our friendship with Jesus to fade. Too often in so many of us, our relationship with Jesus is not as strong as it was just a few years ago. The Bible warns us of such a ‘spiritual trend’ that will take place in the Body of Christ and our religious institutions in the last days. It is a trend that has direr effects for everyone that is a Christian and every minister in the Body of Christ.

I love Jesus; He means everything to me, but it is His friendship that I enjoy the most. I count on His friendship, and it is within this friendship that I find love, peace, hope, and purpose. When Jesus seems far away, it is as if a divide has come between Him and me; I feel lost and out of place. I try running to him and finding how I can become close to Him once again.

Our personal relationships are just as important, we must work on our friendships in order to keep those relationships working, vibrant, healthy with the quality of spontaneity. Want friends, one must be friendly. Whenever I visit with a friend I have not seen lately, we start off our conversation where we left it the last time we met. True friends have empathy for each other, they share their feelings and hopes and have learned to forgive, offer redemption to each other while learning to love and depending on that loving friendship.

Jesus stated during His crucifixion that He was not alone (His Father was with Him) even though everyone had forsaken Him during His time of persecution and death. I wonder how many times our friends left us when things got ruff and turned for the worse. A true friend sticks closer than a brother, the Bible says. Do you have any friends like that? Is Jesus this kind of friend?

We are in the last days, and what is coming scares me at times. I am not worried about the circumstances that will soon be upon us, but it is my relationship with Jesus that I am most concerned about. If I feel His love and the touch of His hand, then I know all is OK because it is His love that makes all things good. I know He is my friend!

Can Jesus become my enemy, you bet He can! Just read the Book of Revelation, when He warns the seven Churches to get themselves in line with His commands or He will remove their candlestick, blot their names out of the Book of Life, and say to them, “I never knew you.” That will be a sad day—when Jesus becomes your enemy.

Let’s all be a friend to the One who is our true friend. Let’s keep on working on our friendship with Jesus, not just depending on our trust or love or our giving to Him. We must be His friend and not forsake Him when He comes to judge this world with His wrath. If you or I lose our friendship with Jesus, we must do whatever it takes to establish our friendship with Him. If we do this, we will hear Him say, “ Hi there friend, where have you been? I have missed you; let’s take a walk together.”

A timely historical note: Today marks a very important day for Jews and Christians alike. It is Yom HaShoah, Israel’s Holocaust remembrance day, which now marks the 76th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz…a day which must never be forgotten! Today be a friend to Jews; they are Jesus’s kids too.
