The Celebration

A Forever Easter Celebration

9 After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. 10 And they cried out in a loud voice:

“Salvation belongs to our God,
who sits on the throne,
and to the Lamb.”

11 All the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. They fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, 12 saying:

“Amen!
Praise and glory
and wisdom and thanks and honor
and power and strength
be to our God for ever and ever.
Amen!”

13 Then one of the elders asked me, “These in white robes—who are they, and where did they come from?”

14 I answered, “Sir, you know.”

And he said, “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 Therefore,

“they are before the throne of God
and serve him day and night in his temple;
and he who sits on the throne
will shelter them with his presence.
16 ‘Never again will they hunger;
never again will they thirst.
The sun will not beat down on them,’[a]
nor any scorching heat.
17 For the Lamb at the center of the throne
will be their shepherd;
‘he will lead them to springs of living water.’[b]
‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’[c]” (Revelation 7:9-17)

Believing & Healing

April 20, 2019 WWJWMTD by Steve, the son of John

From Believing to Healing

Our good deeds, no matter how many or how great they are; they can never erase or match the number or create a positive effect to my sins.

It is only in finding forgiveness that leads to wholeness and righteousness that is found in my relationship to Christ that brings complete healing and total eradication of all my wrong deeds.

I believe in Jesus because He alone can forgive my sins and make everything right. I never can or ever be able to undo any of my sins, but Jesus can. Thanks, Jesus!

Got problems?

April 19, 2019 WWJWMTD by Steve, the son of John

Got a Problem?

Consider the words of Christ

You’ve only got one problem, which is not being spiritual

(i.e. being carnal in word, action or thinking).

You don’t have any problems, if you are spiritual (i.e. the life of Christ abides in you making you an overcomer in all things).

Having no problems is based on the Scripture, Gospel of John 19:30, where Jesus said, “It is finished”.

God’s Judgment Through Darkness

April 12, 2019 WWJWMTD by Steve, the son of John

Why Darkness?

Why does darkness have to come upon the earth? It’s simple, the fulfillment of Christ ministry…who Christ is and “the placing of all things under the feet of Christ”. Darkness must come because Christ must be honored, and His words must be fulfilled. Jesus said, “All things will pass away but my words will never pass away.” I look forward to darkness for I know it means Christ is about to reign over all creation in His return.

I am not stupid thinking that man can destroy God’s creation—the earth. Only a fool does not believe in God and only a fool thinks that he/she has power to destroy God’s creation. When the darkness comes, we know that Christ is not far behind—for it is God’s intent that darkness has a purpose in the fulfillment of God’s perfect will.

How dark is the darkness? You cannot begin to imagine what amount of evil and destruction that will be over all mankind when God unfolds His judgment on the earth. God has created evil so His will reigns supreme in all the earth. God’s goodness will triumph over evil; Satan will be destroyed but not before ‘the judgment’ of the earth.

I am not thankful for darkness and evil causing destruction in the earth, but I am thankful that God is in total control, and it is His purposes and for the glory of Christ that judgment comes upon us all. It is only the meek that will inherit the earth (Matthew 5:5), the Bible says. Also, it is only the meek that will bring about the purposes of God’s judgment on the earth (Zephaniah 2:3). God uses evil to accomplish His purposes (Ecclesiastes). God is planning to exercise His Judgment through His angles (Revelation) and those who are meek (Zephaniah).

Why the meek? God knows that those who are meek do not seek their judgment or their retribution upon others but will honestly and righteously honor God’s judgment for they know God’s judgement is good and righteous. It is the meek in the earth that Fear the Lord; not anything else. Therefore, they can bring about God’s judgment without prejudice.

The battle is coming! A direct and purposeful battle between good and evil. The battle has indeed begun—Jesus warned us of ‘the battle’ in the Gospels. He said, “Men’s hearts will fail because of their fear and men will want to die but death will not come.”

There will be no hope and only Satan (and the beast) will offer any protection to mankind. Satan will do so many spectacular miracles that people will gladly take on “the mark of the beast’ so they can be part of Satan’s miracles and stay alive.

Remember what Revelation states, “Judgment begins with God’s churches (His people)” and then proceeds to the whole earth. Judgment so severe that almost half of all mankind will die, water becomes undrinkable, no wind blowing over the earth, and the light of the sun will no longer be prevalent.

This is why God has sent and is presently sending the “early and latter rain” (Book of Acts). The Holy Spirit is important! All the ‘Fruits and Gifts of the Spirit’ are for mankind to survive what is to come (Galatians). It is only in the statements of New Testament and examples of the Holy Spirit working in the Book of Acts are you and I able to become overcomes of evil and the darkness of God’s judgment.

So, let’s fill up our lives with the oil and the anointing of the Holy Spirit. When times become so dark and we can no longer do great deeds of God’s power; it is the Holy Spirit and His anointing in our lives that our life will have light and we can find our way in the darkness. (Remember the story of the 10 virgins and only half of them could meet Christ when He returns). It is through patience and the fear of the Lord that will allow us to be untouched and ready for His return.

Even so, come, Lord Jesus (Revelation 22:20).

7 Principles that work

April 9, 2019 WWJWMTD by Steve, the son of John

Who You Are vs. the Darkness Within

Every good Christian I know has overcome the darkness inside them. Jesus made a way for that to happen, and Christians often used specific behavioral qualities that are mentioned in Scripture to become that overcomer. Isaiah chapter 61 is an excellent example of Spiritual qualities that are embedded into everyday practical character traits that will empower you to win over darkness.

This by far is the most informative article I have written to parents, teachers, students, and those in leadership. Without the following behavioral traits, you will never be that winner you always wanted to be. You can never be at peace with yourself or succeed in relationships. It is just that critical to have these 7 qualities manifested in your life.

One, learn to make good promises and commitments and keep them at any cost to your wellbeing. Often, we make poor choices and those choices lead to promises we cannot keep. But once you make a good choice learn to keep your commitment. Keeping one’s promise is the first step in being a happy person and one others can count on. It is the first quality in having the ability to learn and of course, being successful in all areas of your life.

Two, your self-esteem offers you the ability to live with yourself. Too often we never become satisfied with what we have or what we are doing. It is because our self-worth is fragile and limited. What we do, what we own, how we look in other people’s eyes are false and misleading when it comes to our personal worth. We must love ourselves as we are, as Christ sees us. Christ does not consider our personal worth based on our worst sin but sees us as created by God and the potential we can have in Him. A healthy self-esteem is the beginning to a productive and satisfying life worth living.

Three, who likes to be around a negative person? Being a positive person is being a productive individual. We must look at life as an avenue to do good things. What is bad and evil ‘out there’ does not have to define me or bring me down. We must overcome evil with good, and that means, we must overcome negativism with positivism. What we say is critical and how encouraging we are changes people for the better. Let’s be positive!

Four, do good deeds without a reward to yourself. There are too many people that live only for themselves. Oh, you can find them doing nice things to others but there is some reward in their actions that profit themselves. We must live for others and not always be caught thinking about and working for ourselves alone. Always be looking to do kind deeds, help the less fortunate, measure your commitment, self-esteem, and positive outlook by seek to help someone in need each day. Help a family member, a stranger and a friend each day (the triple effect). Make it a persona mission in life to do the ‘triple effect’ each day of your life.

Five, believe in things that are bigger than yourself. I believe in miracles and so should you. Young children believe in the unbelievable and so many adults give up on their dreams and the miracles that God has place in this world all around us. When we do not have miracles, healings, and those events that only God can create we become a weak and hopeless person—a person without the ‘spark of life’ or ‘ray of hope’. Let’s look for the impossible each day of our lives and give thanks when those impossibility impact our life.

Six, do not put off to tomorrow what you can do today. This truth was true 2000 years ago and is still true today. We procrastinate too much! Timing is everything to God (Book of Ecclesiastes) and often once the moment is past so are the benefits of making good things happen. I have often misjudged a situation or hesitated in doing a simple deed and lost the reward of changing my life or someone else’s life. We cannot allow what we deem important or our schedule get in the way of what is right, kind, or worthwhile. We must become ‘people of timing’. People who seize the moment for those that we love and are responsible for.

Seven, nothing in life is without consequences. We must understand and consider that no matter what we do and what choices we make, there are consequences not only for us but for those around us. With every action there is always an equal and just powerful reaction (Newton). This principle is true because God made this to happen in this world. We do live in a vacuum nor are we so important that it is only “me” that is important. Whatever you are about to do, think first, and decide what are the possible outcomes to my decision and action. If you live by this principle, you will save yourself from so much harm and disappointment.

These seven principles should be taught to every child and lived by every adult. These concepts come from Isaiah 61:1-2 and Jesus came to fulfill in our lives. So, start today living out the 7 Principles of truly great character and being a person of everyday happiness!
