Fifty Days of Prayer for Fifty-One Capitals
Want to be blessed? Then pray for things that do not include yourself and are much bigger than anything you have ever prayed for. So pray the “50 for 51” theme of restoration for our nation.
Beginning the week of September 10th through 15th, and lasting for 50 days, you and I ought to pray, intercede, fast (if able too), and stand in the gap for our nation’s Capitals.
God impressed me to send out two reminders for His children to pray and contend for the Holy Spirit to move over all Capitals in the United States. This is something God wants to do, and He works through us. If you respond to the will of God and are faithful to what God is asking, God calls you a person of faith.
As I stated in the September 3rd & 5th articles, “Spirit said, ‘Ask the church to spend 50 days praying, fasting, interceding, proclaiming and/or claiming the works of the Father in our Capitals.” I believe God wants to move in each and every one of our State’s Capitals and Washington D.C’.”
2 Chronicles 7:14 states, “Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.” (New Living Translation)
· Begin to pray with a friend during the next 50 days for our nation
· Get your church group to commit to 50 days of intercession for our Capitals
· Have your church begin fasting for our political cities, that God would intervene
· Find 50 people who will take turns fasting one day, supporting each other in prayer
· Quote Scriptures of restoration and repentance over the people who live in our Capitals
· Ask God for nothing less than a revival, an awakening, a spirit of repentance to engulf our nation’s Capitals
· Be bold, be confident, be humble, and be driven by the Holy Spirit—seeing what God will do because you asked Him!
Let’s see what God will do if only we would humble ourselves and pray!
