News Update

Things, they are a changin’

WWJWMTD will be changing or should I say expanding starting this week. I am adding new categories of articles for the coming year including articles on education, the Christian life style, and requests/articles from friends.

I have added Facebook, Twitter and a YouTube channel video to WWJWMTD in order to reach out to more people with the Gospel of Christ. I will let you know how and when to connect via social media venues.

This week’s articles will be political in content with ‘calls’ to connect to what God is doing. Friends will be the authors of the articles. If you have an insight, an article, a prayer for the Body of Christ, or a prophetic word, please email it to me.

God is challenging me to challenge other prophetic websites that promote ‘what God is saying’ but are neither correct nor truthful. I believe God wants truth and honesty when it comes to ‘what the Spirit of God is saying’ to the churches.

You will be delighted yet moved by what God has placed on my heart to say and write about. I plan to be more connected and stimulating with regards to what the Holy Spirit is asking of and telling the Body of Christ to be aware of.

More to come and be blessed—these are exciting times for all of us…come Lord Jesus!

Thankfulness is not an after thought

January 20, 2017 WWJWMTD by Steve the son of John

Jesus’s Warning

Jesus asked, “Where are the others who were healed? Where are those that I answered their prayers?” We often ignore God once we have what we asked Him for. There is judgment when we do not offer thankfulness after God has helped us.

God is not mocked. God is gracious beyond anything we can imagine. He loves us beyond what we deserve. Yes, He cares for us but wants us to return ‘overflowing thankfulness’ to Him. (I Timothy 2:1-2)

Donald J. Trump was elected as our 45th President. It was not a mistake nor can it be rationalized by surveys or polling. God’s hand, because of His great mercy for His people, He caused this to happen. However, we must respond back to Him with gratitude.

I challenge you, no, I command you to be thankful! If we are not thankful for days, weeks, and months then the favor God has shown on us can be taken away—the Bible is very clear on this issue.

Be thankful for Mr. Trump. Give God words of thankfulness; sing songs of praise and gratitude; speak to God Scriptures in return for Him moving at this time in our history. If we are thankful, Satan cannot get an advantage in what God is doing nor can he deter God’s will. It is thankfulness that stops evil from responding.

The evil one only seeks to ‘kill, steal and destroy’ the works and will of God. BE THANKFUL AND STOP THE WORKS OF THE DEVIL.

God has acted but you must respond back to God. This is your work and action of faith. Faith requires a response, a response to the will and action plans of God. Yes, be thankful—do not limit your thankfulness or kind words to Christ.

He is my God and I am His child—I am thankful for all He does!

I was blind but now I see!

January 19, 2017 WWJWMTD by Steve the son of John

Blinding Ourselves

We often blind ourselves. That’s right, we cannot see because of the positions or stances we take. We think that we are doing what is right or correct but in the ‘reality of truth’ we might as well place a blindfold over our eyes.

Apostle Paul had this to say about those Christians that wanted to say they follow a particular person or organization. Paul states in the Epistles that there are individuals that say they are followers of this apostle or minister (I Cor. 1:12). Paul does not want Christians to say they follow a particular person for whatever reason. Because by saying, ‘I follow a specific person this makes me a better or more significant person’ is a lie. We cannot follow man and Christ at the same time—Jesus said.

We follow Christ and live under His truth and teachings, it is just that simple.

I am not a follower of the Episcopal Church even though I have attended and was a member of this domination. I am not a follower of the Charismatic Movement, even though I fellowship with many Charismatics.

My personhood is not based on who I follow or what organization I attend. I am a member of the Body of Christ and my allegiance is to Christ alone.

Therefore I do not say I am a republican, democrat or independent. In the past, I have voted for individuals in all three parties, but I am not a follower of any one party. I refuse to allow pride and ignorance to define me. I will not be blinded by loyalty to a particular party. I vote, not for a party or leader, but whom God asks me to vote for.

I know Donald J. Trump was placed in the Presidency because of the will of God. God has chosen Mr. Trump ‘for such a time as this’. I cannot say this for all past Presidents. I know man can lift up individuals to offices of authority and importance. But as we all know so very well, not all leaders are chosen by God for this office—Satan has a role in this as well. History is a true teacher to the assertion that ‘the evil one’ has produced corrupt and insane leaders.

Do not be blinded; avoid saying I am a ______________________ or a follower of the _____________________ party. Be wise, be true to Christ, be a person of integrity not a follower of man. Blindness is a choice imbedded in pride, and freedom is found in serving Christ alone. I was blind but now I see!

God’s best is coming

January 9, 2017 WWJWMTD by Steve the son of John

“I’ve Saved the Best for Last”

Being a romantic at heart has made me a sucker for love songs. I am sure you have heard the song, "Save the Best for Last." It is a 1992 single written by Phil Galdston, Wendy Waldman and Jon Lind in March 1989 and sung by Vanessa Williams.

The lyrics’ redemptive themes resonated with Williams’ story, as she had put together a successful recording career following her earlier Miss America resignation scandal. The song is a ballad about a young female admirer of a single man who stands by and watches as the object of her desires goes through years of dating, before he finally unexpectedly decides to initiate a relationship with the singer (Wikipedia, 2017). The Bible has much to say about God making things perfect and by far the best…things man can never do.

Gospel of John chapter 2 has the first miracle Jesus did in Cana. It is not too significant for a believer unless you take a close look at each individual verse. I suppose there are half-dozen sermons in verses 1 through 10. NIV reads:

1On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there, 2and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding. 3When the wine was gone, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They have no more wine.”

4“Woman,a why do you involve me?” Jesus replied. “My hour has not yet come.”

5His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.”

6Nearby stood six stone water jars, the kind used by the Jews for ceremonial washing, each holding from twenty to thirty gallons.b

7Jesus said to the servants, “Fill the jars with water”; so they filled them to the brim.

8Then he told them, “Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet.”

They did so, 9and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew. Then he called the bridegroom aside 10and said, “Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now.”

God in these last days is going to manifest His Glory like we have never seen before so man would place their faith in Him, just as His disciples did after the water to wine miracle (John 2: 11).

I believe God does ‘all things well’ not for my sake but because of who He is. I also believe Christ is coming back in the lifetime of my grandkids. Of course that could be anytime from today through the next 100 years. I do not know the year, season, day or time—all of that is left to God, who does all things well. But I do know this, “He (God) has saved His best for last.” How do I know this, He told me so.

I was not doing much, relaxing in my living room, and the Spirit of God said, “I have kept my best for last.” I understand this in part with regards to various Scriptures in the Bible. There are too many theological insights to ignore such a conclusion. However, I did not know that God was willing to speak this to me. Not that I, neither should I think in any way that I am “the best”, for God was not speaking about me. But, all of us, you and me, are in a time that God is going to give in the last days His very best.

I cannot tell you how excited I am for the Body of Christ. God has kept His best for these last days. I have been praying for more of God, seeking His best in my life, and now I can say with confidence that God’s best is here. His best will be better than whatever God has done in the past. Yes, God’s best will be beyond what you and I can imagine or hope for.

Christ’s glory will be manifested so strongly, He will give His best joyfulness, His best gladness of heart, best healings, best miracles, best judgments, best spoken words, best acts of kindness, best peace, best works of the Holy Spirit…best everything!

Wow, now I need no longer have to dream, hope or desire, but I will see; I will have the fullness of God’s glory in my lifetime. God will be glorified in my lifetime and I shall see it. Come Lord Jesus, be glorified!

Good Stuff

January 7, 2017 WWJWMTD by Steve the son of John

From Humility to Thankfulness

I am sent “good-stuff” from friends; this is one of the good-ones. It came to me via David Hauser, Director of the Western States Healing Rooms International and was written by Kris Vallotton, a pastor at Bethel Church in Redding, CA. Kris writes,

“Thankfulness is the door to happiness, the gate of heaven, the cure of arrogance, and a force against the spirit of entitlement. Wow! What a powerful force that is! Thankfulness is a field that must be cultivated, weeded and seeded. But humility is the soil that makes up a field of a thankful heart. We must understand humility before we can truly cultivate thankfulness in our lives. Not only is humility the key to thankfulness, but it’s also a pathway to promotion.

The Fruit of Humility inMatthew 7:20 states that we can recognize people by their fruit. I love the way the New Living Translation puts it; “Yes, just as you can identify a tree by its fruit, so you can identify people by their actions.” Humility produces beautiful fruit. These are some of the characteristics that will grow out of an overflow of what you’re cultivating in your heart:

1. You know whom you are without requiring others to acknowledge your identity.

2. You allow others to get credit for things that should be attributed to you.

3. You take a lower seat than you deserve.

4. You refuse to promote yourself.

5. You allow others to share their accomplishments without sharing yours, especially when yours are greater.

6. You have an attitude that no task is beneath you.

7. You’re honest about your weaknesses.

8. You admit your mistakes.

9. You live below your means.

10. You work to promote others.

11. You’re teachable.

12. You’re correctable.

13. You’re influence-able.

It’s important for us to grasp this because then we will have an opportunity to change history. Do you see the fruit of humility in your life? Even if you don’t see all of what’s on this list, I want to encourage you that as you continue to position yourself in humility, your reward will be promotion in the Kingdom. God will use you in very powerful ways!” We indeed need to walk in these characteristics.

California’s celebrations

January 6, 2017 WWJWMTD by Steve the son of John

Is Your Sin Great Enough?

Sin is never a topic that is fun to talk or write about. We all have sin to some degree in our lives that is impacting our lives or has not been washed away by the blood of the Lamb. It is sin that drives so many persons to do what they do. They are in love with their sin and just do not want to give up what pleasure they feel in their sin.

I hear about Christians either in leadership or the common person say that they do not commit sin any longer. They are liars and do not have the truth of Christ in them. How do I know this, the Bible says so and the Spirit of Christ working on my life always finds sins (wrongs) that I have committed (sometimes years ago or attitudes I never noticed in myself) that He (the Holy Spirit) wants to clean up in my life.

Salvation is a process not just an event. When Jesus said, “A person needs to be born again” this is not just a one-time event but also an ongoing process of redemption and righteousness. I continually need to wash the robe Gad has given to me to constantly making it as white as I can in the blood of the Lamb. It is a joint process—a process of faith—that God partners with me and I with Him. We both together seek my good and God’s will to be done in the activity of salvation and making me complete in Him (Book of Revelation).

Do not tell me you have not broken every one of the Ten Commandments! We all have either through action or in our hearts. Jesus made this every clear in the Gospels and it is true today. In fact, today’s society celebrates their sin.

In California this is a common occurrence. I see the celebration of sin constantly thrown in front of my face through the media, movies, music, advertising, alternative lifestyles, education, and products that we buy. California is in love with its sin. It refuses to call “Sin a Sin,” that is why God is planning to end or slow down its influence over His creation.

God promises to end or limit a curse in the 3rd or 4th generation. The sin California is experiencing is in this timeframe. Our sins are too great. God cares for future generations and because of this He is going to act. I rather fall into ‘the hands of an angry God’ than allow sin to destroy not only myself but also others around me.

I know that in God there is always mercy but under the influence of the Devil, there is only stealing, killing and total destruction. Lookout California, your time is short.

I thought it best to tell you, in case you didn’t ask but wanted to know, ‘what the Spirit of God is telling the church’.

God and the gay movement, 2017

January 5, 2017 WWJWMTD by Steve the son of John

Three Out Of Four Is Not Good Enough

There are four specific aspects of the Kingdom of God that God wants fulfilled in 2017: one, a revival that will overtake America; two, the disillusionment and dismantling of the Gay Movement; three, the peace and prosperity of the church and Israel; and fourth, access and influence of the Spirit of God in America’s political arena.

How do I know this, by the Spirit of Christ (Holy Spirit) and the Word of God (Bible)? These historical events must come to pass. They are been predicted/prophesied about, prayed/intercede for over 25 years, and will accomplish God’s will in our generation and help usurer in the Second Coming of Christ.

Numbers one, three and four have been prayed for, spoken about and recently prophetic words have spoken of these events taking place. It is obvious and reflected in what the Spirit of Grace and Truth is saying to the church. However, number two has not been spoken about but needs to come to pass in concert with the other Spirit driven events.

Number two, ‘the disillusionment and dismantling of the Gay Movement’, is just as important as the other three. The church has failed in confronting and finding deliverance for those who are involved in the Gay Movement. I wish all who read my blog or receive the emails would follow what is taking place and who is working and offering grace to those in the gay lifestyle. His Way Out Ministries under the direction of Phillip Lee has been ministering to gays and offering wisdom and common sense advice to churches for many years. I would check it out (www.hiswayout.com).

Let me simply say, “Church you have failed in understanding the gay movement and how to reach those in the gay lifestyle. You do not understand what God wants to do or how to respond to gays. You have taken the wrong approach of judging and condemning gays without offering the love and grace of Christ to a group that lives in darkness and bondage. Yes, you have failed to be Christ-like to a hurting worldly group of people. You are to blame for its influence in America.”

Furthermore, “God has been judging you through the gay movement. Because of your failure to understand and offer truth to this group, God has allowed their influence to grow and your influence to diminish.” God is now offering all of this to change, starting in 2017. Will you rise to the challenge?

Can you offer forgiveness? Can you show mercy and love to those in bondage? Can you do God’s will and offer hope to literally a dying generation? We must offer them hope, love and a chance to live without bondage and darkness reigning over their lives. Mercy precedes judgment and mercy rejoices over death.

We must reach out to them by giving them our love, but not our acceptance of their lifestyle as the world tells us we must do. We must speak the truth of the Gospel to gays, not be afraid of being ridiculed or rejected. We must pray for judgment, quietly and boldly, that the God we serve and love would send strong judgment into the gay ranks and political agenda. Their influence over the church and America as a whole must be broken and diminished. This must be done not just for those now in the gay lifestyle but also for the sake of our children that are now being instructed and influenced by the powers of evil throughout America. Will you pray? Do you care? Will you proclaim the truth of Christ and believe in the power of the Holy Spirit or allow evil influences of ignorance and apathy to bind the church?

Here is how to pray: “God forgive me for my lack of caring and personal judgment of gays. Let me not accept gays based on their agenda or the world’s requests, but let me love and offer the forgiveness of Christ to each and every gay person. God, please send your judgment among the gay movement in order to end their influence and agenda upon America. God, have mercy; God give your judgment; God redeem the time and have your will be done in all matters regarding the gay movement.”

It is important that item #2 (the disillusionment and dismantling of the Gay Movement) be accomplished during this time of revival. God wants to send a revival among the gay community that will amaze the church and confuse the gay movement. Agree with me; pray with me.

It’s a fearful thing

January 4, 2017 WWJWMTD by Steve the son of John

A Timely Warning California

I live in California and being in a state that has created havoc and heartache for so many Americans, it is embarrassing to say I live here.

I have a prophetic and timely warning for all who live here—“God is not pleased!”

If California moves ahead once again with its plans and national agenda to influence the nation, God will not be looking the other way. I believe God is now saying, “Enough is enough.”

God has spoken through religious leaders, prophetic words and pastoral teachings that we have been moving the wrong direction and supporting Satan’s endeavors. God is about to change all of that. If we do not repent and return to the teachings of Christ then God’s judgment will be the order of business.

We know throughout scripture, Old or New Testament, that God seeks those to worship Him in Spirit and Truth. This action on our part is for us to support and do God’s will no matter the consequences or destruction.

If we will not respond to the mercy and grace of God, then we will respond to the harsh hand of God judgment. God will make sure He is honored and respected (Book of Revelation).

God is coming California; His Kingdom will be on earth—you have been warned!

It’s as easy as 1,2,3!

January 3, 2017 WWJWMTD by Steve the son of John

Every Where I Turn

It would be nice to be able to hear God’s voice, to have God’s face in front of us all the time, and to have the presence of the Lord with us and moving through us at any given moment of time. Yes, you can have these character traits in Christ. He promised them and gives them to us for the asking. Do not be afraid, God wants to have you close to Him and to be successful in Him. You can trust Him for this.

I keep reading about ‘Words from the Lord’ from many different religious leaders. They are expressing hope and the promise of God helping us in the coming year. I am excited and yet cautious. God has stirred the hearts of our leaders and I am hoping that each of us become stirred as well. Remember, God does His part and we must do our part—it is a partnership!

This first step of ‘God in us’ is our ability to looking for God to ‘show up’. I like to be surprised by God and am always looking for Him to ‘catch me off guard’. While I was not expecting God to move in a given situation He did anyway. I am grateful that He loves me no matter what—it is like a surprise birthday gift when I am not looking for God yet He impacts my life.

Second step, God is always asking me to believe a little more deeply each day. Do not fall to the temptation that once you have believed in God, that now, that is all you need to do. Believing is a growth process, we must believe more deeply and more strongly than how we believed yesterday in God. We need to tell God we believe in Him each day and reach for something more about God to believe Him for today.

Third step (three simple attributes), I try to find ways to routinely connect with God and often these are ways that take little effort on my part. Having Christian music being played in the background—this helps my thought processes stay at peace and my spirit calm; listening to Scriptures read to me even though I am not paying attention to each verse being said—my ability to believe more greatly increases when I do this; and lastly, being grateful for the little and big things that happen to me during the day—being grateful/thankful for people and events that I am connected too allows God to work in the lives and situations of others and keeps Satan at a distance.

You want hope this year and God to make you successful in your walk with Him, then partner with Him. It is often the little things you do that catches God attention and moves His heart to watch over you. You can trust Him!

2017 and Beyond

December 31, 2016 WWJWMTD by Steve the son of John

My Hopes & Concerns for 2017

What to be looking for in 2017? Don’t you wish we had a clear picture of what is to come? I want to be prepared. Here are some things I believe all of us need to be aware of and what to prepare for no matter what comes during 2017.

“During personal Bible study time, it came to me that we should be ashamed to say that we are trusting God, only to then turn to the world’s solutions for our problems” stated by Dr. Alveda King. I whole-heartily believe her perspective is correct. The church has been seeking solutions to our problems by hoping our government officials come to our aid. It is God alone that is our hope and strength. What He decides and dictates are the only solutions to all our concerns and problems.

For the past 40 plus years the church has been looking for political, social and legal solutions to moral dilemmas of our day. God of course uses societal and cultural means to produce His will, but when we try to do things on our own without God’s actions in man’s affairs, Satan will always win.

If we, you and me, are wanting a spiritual solution to where we find ourselves then let’s look to God alone and stop trying to figure out how we can produce God’s will. God is willing to show us His will (His purposes and actions plans) but He is looking for a people who will do things His way for His purposes.

Here is my limited wisdom by looking back and then to the future:

· It was no mistake or political maneuvering that Donald Trump was elected President. God alone wanted this man in power and therefore our prayers are too protect and help him in being humble.

· We need to continue in ‘intercession’ for our President and all people in his administration. God wants ‘people of faith and spiritual conviction’ to have input in the new administration and decision-making. I hope you will become and stay a person of prayer and strength during the next 8 to 10 years.

· A revival in on the way, but it will only affect those individuals that are seeking the best from God and willing to respond as the Holy Spirit moves them. I believe this next revival is a partial fulfillment of the Book of Revelation.

· Do not think that ‘all will be good’ while the next President is in power. There will be battles between darkness and light, it will not be easy. Do not lose hope or seek solutions outside of God’s will…God is looking for people that will give Him all the glory and honor.

· Stay vigilant! Continue to be prepared for tragedy. Have means to take care of your family if tragedy strikes. People in California get earthquake insurance and have supplies to sustain your life for days. Make sure you have the means to move to safer conditions, be mobile. There will be more and more deadly earthquakes and they are not man’s doing.

· Judgment will become a central part in what God will be doing in all the earth for the next few years. There will be change in how the Church thinks and what it does as it influences mankind before Christ’s return.

· God has made us promises over the past 40 plus years. Ask God to fulfill his promises to you. He stands now at the door and knocks. Let’s do whatever it takes to have the blessings and purposes of God in our lives.

Everything God has asked me to pray about the past few months has come to pass. God is asking all of us to intercede for His will to be done. What you do matters to God. Be brave, be kind, be consistent, be faithful—let’s make our robes white in the blood of Christ and be prepared to go out to meet Him when He returns, whether in our lifetime or our children.
