A Reminder-’50 for 51′

A Reminder, 50 for 51

I hope you read the article, “50 for 51” dated September 3, 2018. If you didn’t, you can read it in my blog, wwjwmtd.com; just scroll down to the September article.

God impressed me to send out two reminders for His children to pray and contend for the Holy Spirit to move over all Capitals in the United States. This is something God wants to do, and He works through us. If you respond to the will of God and are faithful to what God is asking, God calls you a person of faith.

I stated in the September 3rd article, “Spirit said, ‘Ask the church to spend 50 days praying, fasting, interceding, proclaiming and/or claiming the works of the Father in our Capitals.” I believe God wants to move in each and every one of our State’s Capitals and Washington D.C’.”

Take a step of faith! Get your family or friends or your small fellowship group or your whole church, or maybe all of the above to intercede. I have already started to pray and every time I do the presence of God begins to fall upon me.

I know that God wants to do something special and over-powering in our Capitals. Do not be a Christian who is uninvolved. Become a mover and shaker with the Holy Spirit as your guide.

This is how God moves: when we humble ourselves to do what God wants; we pray till we see God move; cry out to God and willing to see God move over this land; and lastly, ask God to convict of sin and bring repentance—it is then and only then that “Christ will heal our land.”

Make a commitment to pray and seek God’s face for 50 days. Let’s see what God will do if only we would pray!

Gays and Jesus Christ/Update on CA Bill 2943

September 4, 2018 WWJWMTD by Steve the son of John

Update on Bill 2943

I received this email from Phillip. The Lord had mercy on so many of us and listened to our prayers. This is why to pray to our Father in the name of Jesus Christ. May god be praised forever and ever!

Phillip writes:

“Admittedly, the past few months have been an emotional roller coaster with regard to proposed assembly bills here in the State of California.

However, God in His mercy has granted a reprieve.

I awoke this morning still processing God’s intervention regarding Assembly Bill 2943 being withdrawn by its author, Assembly Member Evan Low. I remain in awe.

The New Testament makes it abundantly clear that evangelism is in some way connected with the final return of Christ at the consummation of all history. Before the final coming of the Son of Man, “the gospel must first be preached to all nations.” (Mark 13:10)

Clearly, the greatest thing you and I can do for all people is to bring them face-to-face with the Christ who died for them.

Twenty-four years ago when God saw fit to birth His ministry called His Way Out Ministries, He could not have been more specific in defining our calling and mission.

The Church
Raise awareness, educate, equip, and encourage the Body of Christ to minister to those who struggle with homosexuality.

Individuals
Lovingly communicate to the sexually broken that God’s mercy and grace are sufficient for transformation. Restoration and wholeness, through competent ministry, prayer, and a caring Christian community is possible.

Community
Effectively and compassionately communicate God’s heart concerning sexual and relational brokenness, while disputing the unchangeable nature of sexual orientation.

Today, freedom from homosexuality in Christ Jesus does not enjoy a lot of good press. However, The Church, Peter reminds us, exists not least to “declare the wonderful deeds of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. Once you were no people but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy but now you have received mercy.” (1 Peter 2:9-10)

This Good News must be shared.

With Great Appreciation to Our Friends and Partners…

A special thanks and heartfelt gratitude to the many individuals and families that have and continue to cover His Way Out Ministries in prayer and for courageously standing with us.

It takes a team to reach around the world with the message of hope, healing, and transformation in Christ Jesus. Therefore, to the ministries and churches, we extend our sincere appreciation for your generosity, advocacy, and support.

“Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father.” (1 Thessalonians 1:3)

We wanted you all to know that we appreciate you. Your tireless service for the Lord is reflected in all you do. So we pray that you will know how special you are to us and to carry on the work of God, serving in His love.

From All of Us at His Way Out Ministries

His Way Out Ministries will continue proclaiming to, educating and impacting the world with the Biblical truth that freedom from homosexuality is possible when Jesus Christ is Lord of your life.

To each of you who continually bless us by your encouragement, ministry participation, monthly financial support, offerings, and prayers…we remain truly grateful!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for standing with us!

50 for 51

September 3, 2018 WWJWMTD by Steve the son of John

50 for 51

During my morning time with God, the Holy Spirit impressed upon me to promote this action plan for the Church. I rarely consider such ideas, and I only have a small base to work from but small numbers are usually the numbers that God works with. Here is the plan.

Spirit said, “Ask the church to spend 50 days praying, fasting, interceding, proclaiming and/or claiming the works of the Father in our Capitals.” I believe God wants to move in each and every one of our States Capitals and Washington D.C.

So I am asking every believer or small group or church to designate 50 days of sincere and righteous intercession for our Capitals. I am asking God to move in powerful ways and in accordance with the Kingdom of God in order to make room for the Holy Spirit to impact and conduct changes in our culture.

There is no better place than our Capitals, for God to regain His influence over our states and nation than to begin at the source of political power. We should be asking for these things from the Father—these aspects of God’s Action Plan came to me while I was meditating on what God was asking me to do.

ü Pray for miracles, signs, and wonder to be performed by God in our Capitals.

ü Do not limit what God can do or wants to do by limiting God in our minds, words, or prayers.

ü Be Daniels and Esters in our sincerity, passion, and urgency during this time.

ü The fight is not political or cultural but a spiritual battle against the powers of darkness and Satan control and influence over or Capitals.

ü Each person, group, or church decides their timeframe. Only stay within the boundaries/dates of September 5th to November 15th.

A personal note: California has seen two groups move into the Sacramento area within the last two years. I believe God has sent them there in order to be not only a witness for Jesus Christ but also to perform His will in an area that Satan has had a free will to do whatever he wants to do. Jesus Culture moved to the Sacramento area a couple of years ago and now the International Healing Rooms under the direction of David Hauser and his wife will setting up a ‘home-base’ and ministering in the greater Sacramento area.

There is no place in California that has more oppression and rejects the will of God at every level of society than my state’s capital. It is time for God’s people to say, “Enough is enough! If God is for us who can be against us! It is time for our house to serve the Lord! It is time for Christ to be lifted up and glorified!”

Please join me and tell others to take the challenge of Daniel and Ester. 50 days of intercession and challenge God to move—to see if God will not pour out a blessing of His will and power upon our nation’s Capitals. Jesus would want all of us to do what the Spirit of God is saying to His people, “50 days for Jesus in our 51 Capitals.”

“Knuckleheads”

September 2, 2018 WWJWMTD by Steve the son of John

A Must Read

I receive emails from various ministries and sometimes a personal article touches my heart and spirit. This was one of them. It comes from Kris Vallotton. (You might want to get on his email list.) Kris writes,
How do you treat others when they make mistakes that hurt or impact you?

There’s so much power in the way you respond to someone in their mess. My grandfather taught me this back when I was a teenager, but it wasn’t until recent years that I truly understood how big his love was for me.

In 8 years, I managed to tear the door completely off of his flatbed truck, bend the forks straight down on the farm tractor, and rip the siding off of the garage wall. Of course, these are just a few of the highlights…every week was a venture in destruction and a lesson in patience.

He never scolded me or made me feel stupid. His patience caused me to desperately want to please him. I actually think my desire to live up to his expectation resulted in me embracing his crazy work ethic.

My grandfather taught me to create a place where people can fail successfully.

The truth is that life is messy and none of us are perfect. We all make mistakes, and we will all be around people who make mistakes that affect us. But what would happen in the world if we made room for people to make mistakes, let them learn how to fail, and helped them get back up? I wrote about this on the blog this week. Check it out if you have a hard time being patient when people mess up, or if you don’t know how to manage yourself when you make mistakes.

My prayer for us this week is that we’d all begin to create legacies of mercy and cultures of excellence through the way we deal with others’ mistakes.

Here’s to all the knuckleheads and those who love them well! Blessings, Kris

Do It Now–Do Not Wait!

August 30, 2018 WWJWMTD by Steve the son of John

Do It Now!

As I was watering the garden in the morning two days ago, God said to me, “Pray right now for the President.” I hesitated and God said again, “Pray right now! Do it now!” So I began to pray with the watering hose in my hand. As I prayed the Spirit of God began to fall upon me. I prayed for Mr. Trump, his family, his administration and those who were around him.

I was praying for protection. For Mr. Trump to have favor from heaven and favor with other leaders; for our President to know and do God’s will for America and Israel. I kept praying for a few minutes—I kept praying until I no longer felt the Spirit pushing me to pray.

I hope you understand and believe what Jesus said in the Gospels, that in the last days, “Heaven would be shaken.” Yes, God is presently shaking the powers of heaven and the powers of heaven are falling upon the earth. Everything around us is being turned upside down by the Kingdom of God covering the earth. Make no mistake, there are battles going on in the heavens and this earth at this very time. So today I received this warning.

I received an email and video that you must listen too. Here is the link. If the link does not work then do a search and find the recent video of Lance Wallnau’s Prophetic Warning to Christian Leaders. What he saying is correct—not a false prophetic warning—I assure you what Lance is saying is true and a call to action. Here is the title and/or link:

"Lance Wallnau Issues Prophetic Warning to Christian Leaders"
Lance Wallnau, Dallas/Fort-Worth, Texas (To watch click here), or go to The Elijah List August 30, 2018 link and article issued by Steve Shultz—the link will work from this website.

I will be sharing more about this and other things God has been showing me. It is a season for going to battle against the powers of darkness. We must be bold in coming to God in prayer and being positive in our words in proclaiming the Kingdom of God on earth. It is time to do what Jesus did—to do what Jesus wants all of us to do.

Gays & Jesus Christ, Article #4

August 27, 2018 WWJWMTD by Steve the son of John

G&JC Article #4

A Personal Note & Final Article

I firmly believe that any future revival/awakening/spiritual movement will only take place if the Church reaches out to the gay community. I am not suggesting that we accept the behavior or beliefs of the gay movement, but that we reach out to gays and offer them the love of Christ. This can only take place if the power of the Holy Spirit moves us to ‘go where the Church has never gone before’.

Is the gay lifestyle an abomination according to Scripture, sure it is. But I like what Phillip Lee says about taking the Gospel to those living the gay lifestyle.

Phillip writes, “An abomination is an outrage, a disgrace, something detestable to God – and, yes, this is exactly what God says the practice of homosexuality is.

In Romans 1:26-28, the Bible twice says of practicing same-sex scenarios that God "gave them over" to their sin, meaning, God let their sin run its destructive course in their lives.

Any decision to reject God’s truth results in our becoming enslaved to ungodly passions.

Abomination does not signify "case closed, 10-4-over-and-out, done, finality!"

1 Corinthians 6:9-11 tells us clearly, "Some of you once practiced a behavior, a lifestyle that even progressed to the point that it is how you thought of and defined yourself."

However, 1 Corinthians 6:11 says, "Now you are washed by the blood of Jesus. Now you have a new life. You are sanctified by the Holy Spirit and you are being transformed into new individuals. You are justified – set free from your sin and now wear the robes of Jesus’ righteousness. The Holy Spirit ‘has done’ and is ‘continuing’ to do a great work of transformation in your life."

No longer viewed by God as an abomination. You and I must (embrace and allow) God’s Word to accomplish the purpose for which He sends it:

"As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is My Word that goes out from My mouth: It will not return to Me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it" Isaiah 55:10-11. See yourself as God sees you and not as you once were.”

I like what the Apostle Paul said about his ministry. “I come not to you with words of intellectual wisdom or clever sayings, but in the demonstration of the power of Christ.” We must likewise depend on the Gifts and Fruits of the Spirit if God is to impact and change those within the gay movement. Afraid, no; weak, no; confident in the words of Christ, yes; and willing to love the unlovable, yes—this is what Jesus would want me to do.

Concerns About the Revoice Conference by His Way Out Ministries

“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness.” (Isaiah 5:20)

Today, especially in America, little is being offered which promotes the truth about homosexuality with the general public and the Church believing the many untruths and inaccuracies being offered. This did not happen by accident. This has been and continues to be a well-crafted strategic plan. (This is their plan of attack.)

Phase One: Get society and the Church to ‘accept’ the falsehood that someone can be a gay Christian (it’s ok to practice homosexuality), which will then set the stage for the transition to Phase Two.

Phase Two: Revise Scripture to endorse and validate the homosexual disposition and agenda.

Hence, pro-gay theology: “the abandonment of Scriptural truth; scientific information, social changes, and personal experience become the cornerstone of how ‘truth’ is determined.” For homosexual practice to be seen as acceptable and created by God, historic and traditional Christian teaching had to be discredited.

Phase Three: Since it’s ok to be a gay Christian (according to pro-gay theology), then God Himself supports, approves and validates homosexuality and same-sex marriage.

Herein lies the true problem and the crisis. Nowhere in the Bible does any Scripture, not one, approve of or support the notion or concept of gay Christian or same-sex relationships. Every time Scripture mentions homosexual practice it is always, without exception, mentioned in the context of a behavior in which no man or woman is to practice – not unlike many other behaviors.

The Church cannot ‘welcome and affirm’ what God Himself never affirms. Yes, Jesus welcomed and loved every person but He never, ever affirmed his or her sin – not once.

That said, permit me to take this another direction for a moment.

It is long overdue for many, including homosexual strugglers, to stop singling out homosexuality as the worst of all sins.

Today, many view the person engaged in homosexual acts to be unsaved. Why are not the same assumptions made, at least with the same rigor and emphasis, regarding other sins such as: fornication (pre-marital sex), idolatry, adultery, thievery, covetousness, alcoholism, slander, and deceit. An end must come to declaring those guilty of pre-marital sex as just, well, “disobedient Christians,” while declaring homosexuals definitely non-Christians.

As Christians, our relationship with God through Christ is the cornerstone of our identity.

Today, many are being told, “Accept yourself and follow your heart.”
However, Jesus says, “Deny yourself and follow Me.”

“By this, we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments. The one who says, ‘I have come to know Him,’ and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him; but whoever keeps His word, in him the love of God has truly been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him; the one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked.” (1 John 2:3-6)

The ‘gay Christian’ identity does not exist in the Kingdom of God.

"Concerns About the Revoice Conference" is a must view and listen by friend and ministry partner, Dr. Michael Brown. Dr. Brown offers and puts in crystal clarity where we are today with regard to "Gay Christian?, Pro-Gay Theology, etc."

The video is a must watch for anyone and everyone concerned about the many misguided attempts to revise sexual morality.

Steve’s note: Once again Phillip articulates God’s perspective on gay issues and how Biblical truths confront secular thought in our culture. Jesus asks us to be smart, informed, and bold. It’s time to respond to our calling in Christ—say ‘yes’ to what Jesus wants you to do.

Are You Praying Psalms Chapter 3?

August 25, 2018 WWJWMTD by Steve the son of John

Are You Praying? Psalms Chapter 3!

An article I wrote on July 29th titled, “Are You a Psalm 1 Person?” I said that we need to pray for President Trump. This is what I stated in the last three paragraphs of the article:

“God asked me to read Psalms chapter three a few days ago. I spoke to the Lord that I am not having these problems—i.e., I did not have to “cry unto the Lord.” God stated to me that He was not talking to me but concerning President Trump. The Holy Spirit reminded me of the need "to pray for those that are over us.” We need to pray and intercede for our political leaders (multiple Bible verses telling us to do so).

So I have begun to pray Psalms chapter 3 over our President, his family, and his administration. I do not know what is taking place in Washington D.C. nor why Mr. Trump needs our protection/covering. I do not need to know but I need to be faithful to the One who was and is faithful to me—Jesus.

My challenge to you is simple: if you are a believer and a Psalms 1 person, you need to pray, read, and claim Psalms chapter 3 over our President. God knows what is about to come and what is the need for God’s will to be done and fulfilled with completeness. Will you be a Psalms chapters 1-3 person? Can you believe in God to fulfill His promises? Are you willing to stand in the gap for others? This is what Jesus would want us to do.”

Well, now we see God’s warning coming to pass. I have received many requests from church leaders and prophetic ministers to pray for our President. The Holy Spirit is always right. If you and I would heed what Jesus said in Matthew chapter 24, “To watch and pray always,” we would see God changing history and His will coming to pass.

This might also be a good time to fast and pray until God tells you to stop fasting. What Trump is doing is directly affecting the Body of Christ and the nation of Israel. There is much more our President needs to do, but God’s people need to stand in the gap for him and fight against the darkness. Remember, “The prayer of a righteous person…” This is what Jesus would want you to do.

Talk About Fake News! By His Way Out Ministries

(Phillip Lee’s conversation with a reporter)

Reporter: I’m really surprised you continue to believe and state that men and women with same-sex attraction can change.

Me: Why does that surprise you?

Reporter: Well, you know, with so many having debunked Reparative Therapy and Conversion Therapy.

Me: I must challenge your use of the word "debunked." While some men and women may not have benefited from Reparative or Conversion Therapy, both offer some very good, sound and solid counsel for life. So, let’s not, as the saying goes, "Throw the baby out with the bath water."

That said, during our 25-year history of His Way Out Ministries, we have never applied or utilized Reparative or Conversion Therapy. Being a Christian ministry, our calling, mandate and approach is taken directly from the command and calling of our Lord Jesus Christ to make disciples as found in Matthew 28:19.

You do understand Biblical Discipleship is by no means the same as Reparative or Conversion Therapy, don’t you?

Reporter: Huh?

Me: Reparative and/or Conversion Therapy is a psychological, clinical approach to resolving same-sex attraction. At His Way Out Ministries, our position and approach rests entirely upon the Authority of Scripture versus the interpretations of some of the social sciences and medicines. All His Way Out Ministries Services are centered on the Biblical foundations of compassion, integrity, and dependence on God.

Reporter: Oh, pray the gay away.

Me: I would caution you not to mock God or the power of prayer.

We believe through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and the healing power of the Holy Spirit, often mediated by extended and competent ministry, prayer and a caring Christian community, the sexually broken can experience transformation and restoration towards wholeness.

And, by the way, it is our intent to extend compassionate Christian ministry for such persons while repudiating any non-loving, prejudicial attitudes that deny Christ’s unconditional love for all people and we declare such to be sin.

Reporter: Wow, I had no idea.

Me: Do you have a Bible?

Reporter: Yes.

Me: With regard to "change," I recommend you read Mark 10:27 and 1 Corinthians 6:9-11. "Change" is not just our personal opinion or feeling. God, Himself says "change" is possible.

Reporter: Hmmmm

Me: So, if you still want to disagree or argue about "change" being possible, I suggest you take it up with God. Indeed, you can argue the point with Him but you won’t win.

Reporter: Thank you for your time.

Me: Anytime.

Phillip is not afraid to go where others will confront him. I wish only that all Christians would be fearless, smart, and yet kind. One can either allow darkness to have its way or bring all things under the rule of Christ. It’s time to do what Jesus would want us to do!

G&JC, article #1

August 22, 2018 WWJWMTD by Steve the son of John

Gays & Jesus Christ (G&JC Series #1)

As a Christian, I was told for many years that the homosexual lifestyle is about the judgment of God and the gospel of damnation. Much too often the Christian church failed the homosexual and brought God’s displeasure on the Church. God came to save, redeem, and offer freedom to anyone that is a sinner—no matter the severity or depth of one’s sin.

Gays do not frighten me nor do I find it difficult to show the love of Christ to anyone in the gay community. What I have problems with is the ignorance of the Church and their fear of gays, as well as, the flagrant lies and the promotion of sex within the homosexual community. Both sides of the spectrum walk in denial and in hate.

The issues a gay man faces just do not affect me. Yet I have friends that have to be very careful what they do in order to not experience the sins of homosexuality. Homosexuality has deep roots in one’s personality, mental state, and emotional makeup. One cannot simply overcome the homosexual lifestyle by ‘mind over matter’. It takes the love of Christ and the deliverance of the power of the Holy Spirit dramatically working in one’s life.

Those who have ‘gay ministries’ have to work on three fronts—the fight against the ignorance within the Church, the gay community and it’s culture of deception, and the public at-large willingness to ‘buy-in’ to the perception that being gay is OK and natural.

This is a spiritual battle! Satan comes only to kill and destroy all of God’s creation, hinder and make void the Gospel of Christ, and last of all to steal the blessing and goodness Jesus has placed in anyone’s life. Satan cannot tell the truth and neither does the gay community—it is in a lifestyle of lust and denial.

This is why Jesus has called me—to proclaim freedom to the captives and setting free those that are in their own personal prisons. There is no greater calling in Christ than to do what Jesus said He came to do (Isaiah 61:1-3). This is what Jesus wants me to do.
